Dark Training

Her eyes were tightly closed. In the dark, shadowy silence of the dead forest, a lone cat stood precariously on a branch, swaying with an invisible breeze. Her red eyes opened as she gazed down into the dark haze beneath her. Here she stayed, waiting.

Darkpaw looked around. He got a familiar feeling from this place, and in an instant it hit him. He was back in the Dark Forest. After his time as a Shadowclan kit, he had found out what this place really was. He walked around causiouly, not knowing what to expect.

A flicker of movement from the black haze. A black pelt padded through the mist, towards her. Ahh... Finally. she thought, before silently leaping down in front of Darkpaw.

Darkpaw watched the cat jump down infront of him. He figured that he had been brought here for a reason, but he couldn't quite tell what it was

"Welcome back." Tigerfrost purred. "Are you ready to begin training?"

"What sort of training?" Darkpaw asked. He had found out about who Tigerfrost was while in Shadowclan camp, and he figured that it would be some sort of battle training, but he wasn't sure.

Her muzzle split in a grin, her sharp teeth glinting in the dim light. "Battle training, of course."

"Of course" Darkpaw said. He figured that he would get more training done here then in Shadowclan's territory, seeing as he mentor was unusually lazy. He wondered what things Tigerfrost would teach him
