Moonpaw's Dream

Moonpaw opened her eyes and looked around. Where am I? She thought as she looked around the unfimiliar territory. " Hello?" She called.

"Hello." A voice called not far away, a pair of yellow eyes showed in the shadows.

" Um, hello. Where am I?" Moonpaw asked looking around in awe.

"Why don't you think carefully..." The she-cat's voice sounded again,"We have no light in this part of the forest...." The yellow eyes blinked slowly and calmly.

Moonpaw's eye grow wide. " Am, am I died?" She asked, scared.

The cat laughed,"Oh no, Anything but!" She took a step out, she was a pretty calico, other than some scars on her neck and face,"Your dreaming. I am a cat's spirit."

" Oh." Moonpaw sighed in relief. " Who are you?" She asked, curious about the calico she-cat.

The cat's eyes filled with sorrow,"my name is Deathowl..."

" What's wrong?" She asked automatic wanting to help the sad cat.

Deathowl sighed,"I guess...I should tell what i've done wrong with my life...." She meowed and sat down,"I was once a windclan warrior...." She looked back as if to veiw her past,"...My name was Owlfeather. But one day something drew me to abandoning my clan, That was where everything went downhill." She paused,"Several moons later, An apprentice named Hazelpaw found me near High Pine...." She snapped her head toward Moonpaw,"....That is when I was sent to this horrible place." She stood up and turned away,"You must promise me.....That you will never take the path I did." She glanced back,"You will end up in the Dark Forest instead of Starclan....and your friends will never forgive you...." Deathowl disapeared into the shadows.

Moonpaw's eyes grow wide. " I I promise!" She yelled. She looked around after Deathowl left, this forest was creepy and she didn't want to be alone in it " Um, hello? Deathowl? Somebody? ANYBODY!" She began to panic.

"Hello." a voice purred. "Don't worry. You're safe here."

"hmmm...." Deathowl's voice sounded,"Usually they wake up after a good talk with a cat...." She was up in a tree.

Moonpaw jumped when she heard the voice. " Really?" She asked. " I'm not mouse-brained, I know where I am." She growled to the unseen cat.

"Which is why you are safe." the voice meowed. "And she shall not leave this dream until we have spoken. What it it you desire most, apprentice?"
