Playing with kits...

Cheetahkit sat outside the nursery and stared at the meddie cat den. "I want to be a Medicine Cat!!" she purred.

Raccoontail sat in the nursery with her two kits. She purred. "Cheetahkit, You have to wait. Icepaw is almost down with his train then he will choose the next medicine cat apprentice. I sat right where you are wanting to become an apprentice." She mewed to her

"Really?" she purred, eyes gleaming with excitement. "What is being a warrior like?"

Icepaw padded out of his den, after sorting his herbs and spotted Cheetahkit and Raccoontail talk. He over-heard them talking about what the kit would become when she was older. A medicine cat? Wow...I didn't know someone wanted to be my apprentice. he thought. He began to think about how he would teach an apprentice, and how he could use Ebonyroot's teaching skills. I am almost a medicine cat...I won't see Ebonyroot as much... he thought sadly, thinking about how much he liked his mentor.

Patchkit padded out of the nursery and sat beside Cheetahkit "Hello Icepaw, Hi Raccontail, how are you Cheetahkit?" she purred

"Yes, who are you?" he asked, amber eyes glowing. "Hello Icepaw!!"

OOC: I'm Patchkit I'm new but I'm also ready to be and apprentice

IC: "I'm Patchkit!" She purred

"Hello Cheetahkit. Hello Patchkit." he meowed.

OOC: Didn't you want to be MCA Patch?

"Well.." She explained to Cheetahkit "I love being on the front line defending the clan feeling the thrill of battling, and with every pray you catch is like a glow of pride every time you do something right. When it comes to border patrols is like cracking down on a rouge if you smell something inside the territory like another warrior." Her eyes gleamed as she described it. "Well the feeling of being a warrior is different for every cat."

IC: "What are you doing?, Cheetahkit"

OOC: Wow...I thought it was rain, but it's rain and hail! Hail! In May!

IC: Icepaw nodded.

"If I wasn't meant to be WindClan's medicine cat, I would have had to be a warrior. It's not a bad thing, but I prefer saving lives instead of..." he looked at Raccoontail, knowing he shouldn't continue.

"I kind of have to be a Medicine cat, though." he mewed. "You see my leg....." he knew he didn't need to go on, he had kept the secret long enough. He turned so they could see his crippled leg. "It's been like that since birth...." he whimpered, embaressed.

"Just because of one leg doesn't mean you can't serve you clan." She purred an licked Cheetahkit's head

Icepaw examined the leg carefully.

"You were born this way? Did you tell a medicine cat?" he mewed, concern in his voice.

"n...no. Why? I was too young to tell anyone...." he whimpered.
