Soon enough, she heard a slight rustling sound in a stray bush not too far from where they were. Shadowsong stopped and waited, hoping to find some kind of decent sized prey. The scuffling sound continued for a few heartbeats before a small, plump mouse came scurrying into the open. Seeing the size of it, she crouched quietly and stayed light on her feet as she crept up behind the tiny creature and then pounced when she believed she was close enough. Before the mouse even caught sight of her, she landed on it and quickly killed it when a swift bite to it\'s neck.

Shadepaw watched Shadowsong closely,keeping the stanch Shadowsong used in her head.Once Shadowsong had caught the mouse, Shadepaw walked over to her with a warm smile on her face."What was that about you not being good at hunting." She chuckled softly.

Shadowsong placed the mouse gently on the ground. She then smiled, filled with pride and a little bit of embarrassment. "Well, I think I was just lucky on that. How about you try to catch something?" She suggested.

"Alright." She meowed."But everything else is probably scared off by now."She finished before creeping off into the tall grass.

She padded after her slowly, careful not to make a any noise. "I'm sure there's bound to be something around here." She mewed as quietly as she could to Shadepaw.
