Gathering March/April 2011

Featherfall shivered. "I can't tell you." She lied. "Just forget your heard it. Mommy died when she was defending your Father and all of the Clans." She said, licking each of their heads.

Heatherkit squeaked.
"I wanna know," she mewed. "She's m-my mommy, I wanna k-know."
She didn't sound very sure of herself, but she wanted answers.

Raccoontail mewed to the kits "Rainstar was my mom to"

He nodded. "T-tell u-us!" He trembled.

Sleepyyawn yawned, unphased by the deaths. It had been quite a shock to him that the three were dead, but he figured that it was just Clan life. He looked at the kits, unsure of what to think of them. They'll get used to it, I did.

Ebonyroot gasped silently at the news Bramblestar had let out to the clans. That was a secret she had though they would both carry to the grave. She was honestly shocked that no one had caused the smallest rebel over this, or that there wasn't a single cloud passing the moon.
'Perhaps it does not matter, now that they both are away.' Still, their honor was on the line.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of the kits. "What are they doing here?" the medicine cat frowned at Moonkit and Heatherkit. If she had an eyebrow, it would probably be twitching.

"Those are ShadowClan kits," He growled, "Get away from them!" He mewed to Featherfall, "If your the new leader, then you must have the feeling to kill," He glared.

Deadfrost, who had been unseen in the crowd, drew his lips back and snarled at Bramblestar's accusation. "She wouldn't. But you would. Like you did to me!" He shivered as the truth of his killer finally came out.

Deadkit crouched down hidden in the shadows of great rock.She folllowed them because, What could a kit do to even touch an intruder?

Heatherkit flattened herself to the ground; all these big cats were scary.

Bluestar growled at Bramblestar. "How, in anyway- are these kits ShadowClan's?! Both their parents were from WindClan." She leapt down and sat beside Featherfall and the kits.

Snowclaw watched this all happening.Will Goldenstar talk about Lynxpaw? she thought looking up.

Frostfur started to clean her pelt

"It was Swiftstar's dying wish that they be with ShadowClan." Ebonyroot stepped forward, giving Bluestar a challenging stare. "And it is certainly no concern of yours, as you are neither ShadowClan nor WindClan."
She padded to the two kits and urged them back protectively away from the leaders.

Bluestar dipped her head. "I am sorry- I did not know that." She met Ebonyroot's gaze without even blinking.

Featherfall blinked simply, and unwrapped her tail from the kits, returning to the Great Rock.
