"That was how long ago?" Ebonypaw meowed. "You can't even come up with a good aliby (sp?)."

Rainstar just kept her mouth shut. She couldn't say anything, but she couldn't let these cats know it was her. Shoving Brambleflame off of her, she shook her pelt.

"How could you?" she hissed out of her teeth.

Rainstar shook her head. She couldn't speak; she felt sick to her stomach.

"What she said," He hissed.

Rainstar sat down.
"So what will you do with me?" she asked softly.

"Leave you till your guilt eats you alive." He growled.

Her ears perked up.
"So you're not going to tell anybody?" she whispered.

"Depends." Ebonypaw muttered. "We could do anything, but unlike you, ShadowClan has some honor and integrity."
She looked at Brambleflame. 'Be fair.' she thought.

Ebonypaw nodded in approval of his answer.

"Yes we do." He mewed. "I hope you rot in pieces from the guilt, and sorrow you should feel," he growled, grabbing Jaystar, he left.

Rainstar looked at her paws, tears filling her eyes. She already felt bad.
"He said I could," she called. "He told me to finish it."

Ebonypaw gave the leader an icy glare and followed in Brambleflame's footsteps. It wasn't worth answering too.

Featherfall walked into camp, back from a hunting trip. She watched Brambleflame and Ebonypaw walk away, and waved at them with a smile and her tail. Until she saw Jaystar's dead body. She stiffened. "What's happened Rainstar?" She asked under her breath, looking at the hard expression on her face.

Ebonypaw paused at the entrance. "If your the cat I hope you are, you would go back to ThunderClan and leave her far behind." She meowed behind her back to Featherfall.

"What?" Featherfall asked, turning around and fixing a wise blue gaze on Ebonypaw. "What are you talking about?" She said careful to keep her gaze away from Brambleflame, and the body he was holding.
