| Subject: She Was Scared Of Heights, But She Was Much More Afraid Of Never Flying[C] Wed 3 Apr 2024 - 23:59 | |
| She remained in his memory simply as the most plaintive and poignant of a line of ghosts
Her sister was always away now, she never got to approach her. And when she did, it was to ask for things. Flowers, feathers, pebbles, twigs, leaves... she wondered if her sister ever got irritated by her constant demands. Did she even understand the art that she made? She had specifically made her and Hollowpaw, using juniper berries to make herself and reeds to make her sister, and had been so excited to show it to Hollowpaw, but now she worried that her sister may not have understood it at all. Juniperkit wanted to make another version, a better one, especially now that she learnt how to weave reeds, but she feared she would be pestering her sister too much. Would Hollowpaw think she was silly for making all these pretty patterns? Did she even think that they were pretty?
If only Juniperkit could become an apprentice, she'd go out and get far more materials. But she was scared that when she did become an apprentice, she wouldn't have the time to make her art anymore. It was all so scary and confusing and utterly frustrating. The black she-kit could only wait for Hollowpaw to return and request a few more materials at the moment, though she swore to herself that she'd also ask how her sister's day had been before running away.
