SkyClan Border Patrol [03-2024]

Yewshade's lip curled with disdain and he stared in horror as he listened to Mallowpaw's pathetic pleas, Bubblebeam's anxious and self-centered attempt at being assertive, Brackendawn's pleasantries with the ThunderClan codebreaker, and Auburnflare's antagonistic and cowardly words thrown over the border. He had enough.

How could his clanmates be so blind? Stupid, even. How could they stand idly by while ThunderClan warriors trespassed on their territory and attacked their very own kin? They were all tarnished in his eyes, unworthy of the honor of being SkyClan warriors.

"Honeydew and Wolfstar will hear of this." Yewshade spat out. "Yes, she's going to be disappointed. Disappointed in the sorry excuse for SkyClan warriors you all are - letting your clan down with your spinelessness and lack of loyalty." He hissed, turning to Brackendawn. "Have you forgotten they led a patrol with RiverClan with the intent of killing your clanmates? Your own family and leader? Now you're exchanging pleasantries with them. Pathetic. Wow - very good! They didn't kill Honeydew - they sure almost did! Let's give them prey for that for a job well done! You weren't here, and you don't deserve to thank them." He added, his words dripping with venom for the mousebrain that stood in front of him.

With a flick of his tail, he turned away from the border patrol. They didn't deserve another sparing glance. Disgust churned in his gut. He veered off the path, jumping and disappearing into the shadows of a thick bush. He would not forget this day, nor would he forgive the cowardice he witnessed. But, he would wait. He'd wait for the moment when he could rise - and when that moment comes, ThunderClan will know the true fury of a real SkyClan warrior scorned.
