Fallenkit stared into the wind-swept moors, and saw tiny, flickering lights, dancing with the breeze. He stood, ears twitching with interest. He hopped off the rock, and trotted over to them. They were fireflies. "Oh, hello, fireflies," he whispered, smiling. He liked them. They did not scoff, they did not lie, they did not fight, they did nothing that made the world dark, instead, they lit it up. Fallenkit lauhged as they circled around his head.

Fallenkit was silent for a moment. "And Featherfall's." There was a hint of bitterness in his voice, and he shook his head, not understanding. "Well, I er,should get back to camp soon, I guess...I'm going to ba an apprentice soon, but...please, meet the fireflies." The little creatures flew around Raccoonpaw, greeting her with a glowing dance.

Fallenkit allowed himself to grin. "I suppose.." He pushed Raccoonpaw into a pile of snow playfully, and the fireflies danced into the sky.
