Cats on Ice (closed)

The cold, the hunger. Silverwing had only experienced it once so far in her short life but her first brush with Leaf-Bare had been miserable. The constant chills and growling stomach had been eased slightly moons prior by the company of certain cats, but something that seemed to work almost as well was occupying her mind with other things. Silverwing had managed to keep herself from keeling over so far so it seemed like a decent method, and one that she would have to endure for a while. Still, Skyclan had tons of oddities that didn't exist in Windclan. For instance, the the sight that the molly now fixated on was the now frozen waters of the creek that split Skyclan's territory. It was unlike anything she had seen during Leaf-Bare in Windclan, then again she hadn't gone out looking for such sights as she did now. That didn't make the sight of it any less pretty however. Silverwing marveled at the stream of ice, unaware of the rest of the forest "living" around her.
