Her body lost a bit of tension as Wrenpaw pressed against her pelt. She wondered how much the young medic knew about Batsong. She would always want her apprentice to be informed, but then again, she also wanted Wrenpaw to maintain a more positive view of her colleagues than Sandyshell's own distrustful one. Overall, she was quite fond of her apprentice's caring attitude, and wouldn’t want to ruin that.
Echosong suggested they begin. The medicine cat rose to her feet eagerly, more than ready to move on. She smiled to Wrenpaw, both to reassure her and to hopefully get her excited to meet Starclan again. Sandyshell very rarely felt anything near excitement or hope to talk to their ancestors, but maybe Wrenpaw could. Maybe Wrenpaw could have a better experience, she hoped.
With her apprentice by her side, she led them both into the cave, just behind others. Once opening up into the moonstone's sharp shimmer, they took a spot against the cold crystal and settled down. “Goodnight,” she whispered before taking a deep breath and letting herself fall into Starclan’s territory. She begged, or prayed, that there would be no news.

If Burdockroot had a pool of emotions, she would have cared more about Batsong leaving. Good. Batsong was her biggest heartbreak, following Nightstalker. Brought her some of the only pain she has ever felt. Holding her tongue, she decided to follow Heatherberry in without saying anything. Soon, she settled down next to her former apprentice for her dream.

Fawnshine nodded, following Echosong to slip inside the dark tunnel she'd grown so familiar with throughout the moons of responsibility being a medicine cat. Her gaze bore a lack of emotions, only intent on the blaring light ahead of her eyes. With a brief exhale, she pressed her nose to the Moonstone, tail curled up around both her figure and her apprentice's own. Hopefully, the stars had peace of mind tonight.
But they seemed to have other plans in mind.
"One, Two, Three, Four, Five. The time is now to survive. Know your kin, know your friends, know your companions across the bend. They’re your hope to get out alive, the coming times will be hard to survive."

The words echoed in her head until she awoke, an underlying sense of urgency and threat under the rhythm of the prophecy. The voice, whoever that was—warned her of the upcoming disasters she'd yet to face. Not wanting to leave such imminent danger to otherwise inexperienced paws, Fawnshine brushed her tail against Echosong, waiting until he woke up to tell him of the warning she'd just received.

"That is what the stars have told me. Did they foretell you of anything?"

Echosong awoke startled, it was his first time recieving a message like this from Starclan. Usually he would just meet with Pricklebush, keep the old man up to date, maybe vent a little. This time the guide was much more serious and only spoke in weird riddles. It was quite unlike the tom and knowing Pricklebush he probably wished he could say exactly what it meant or give Echosong a vision. But that's what he was left with,
Something familiar is found in the river, grasped by dark currents and swirling waters. What was there before is not so keen to let go.
Shaking his head he tried to listen to Fawnshines words. Across the bend? Did that mean the other clans? Or the tribes he had heard elders speak of? What was there before is not so keen to let go." he meowed, surprised he was able to remember it, "Do you think it has to do with Murkyripple going to Riverclan?" he asked quietly, tilting his head in thought. It was the first thing that popped into his head and it was no secret the warrior had left for Riverclan. But now that he thought of it.. he didn't know why she had left. The tom wasn't really one to ask personal questions like that when he hadn't really known Murky.

She awoke with her fur ruffled the wrong way. Every sharp word repeated in her head precisely. One, Two, Three, Four, Five. The time is now to survive. Know your kin, know your friends, know your companions across the bend. They’re your hope to get out alive, the coming times will be hard to survive. The gripping coldness of the message charged a chill down her spine and through her floundering tail. Her mind felt frayed and buzzy, just as it did after every “gift” from Starclan. She kept returning to the prophecy as her heart picked up pace. Get out alive? Are they saying we’re about to die!? Sandyshell knew things would be dire. Deathly. Fatal. Grim, dark, and doomed. With panic solidifying in her head, she endlessly searched the star’s words for clearer meaning. Anything to help her prepare for this oncoming death sentence.
Suddenly, somehow, the sentences echoing in her ears aligned with an outer voice. She silently stared at Fawnshine with her eyes wide. After the shock she realized, Starclan shared the same prophecy with Thunderclan. Instinctively, the molly’s lips sealed. This felt like a secret she had intruded on impolitely. Sandyshell averted her knowing gaze down onto her paws as she decided what to do. Her paranoia wanted her to eavesdrop more. Another thought considered speaking with the other prophets. Uncertainty caught in her throat. There was no time for anything other than going home and warning Poppyshine and Perchstar. The Riverclan cat nudged her sleeping apprentice almost roughly, more than ready to leave.
