Ravenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Another of his clanmates would become an apprentice today. This kit had reminded him of one his older, deceased clanmates. They didn't share the color of their pelts or eyes as far as he could remember, but they both had that line that ran down the middle of their faces. It was almost eerie in a way, but he was just overthinking things now.

"All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, please gather in the shadow of the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!"

Ravenkit already sat in front of the Jaggedrock. Her paws sat neatly in a row, tail gently atop them as she awaited the rest of the clan's approach. She felt ready enough. Her bright eyes watched the top of the rock with a calm demeanor.

Sablestrike's gaze swept across his clanmates as they began to congregate, the kit that would become an apprentice at the front of them all. Whether she knew it or not Ravenkit had picked a great spot.

The tom fixed his gaze on the kit and spoke. "Ravenkit, you have reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Ravenpaw. Your mentor will be Beetlechaser. I trust they will teach you all they know and mold you into a proper Shadowclan warrior."
