Who is this kit {Open}

As the kit was carried by the scruff, she looked around as they neared their destination. She thought her little hiding den was huge, but didnt expect to see their area almost ten times bigger. The tiny calico looked in awe as they walked through the entrance, many cats being seen roaming around. She has never seen this amount of cats in her tiny short life and was struck in awe at how well they lived together. She noticed some cats give her confused glances but even when she was set down, the tiny kit stayed close to the first cat she met, Firefly. The tiny kit already felt like a bond was forming between her and the older cat so knew the others wouldnt harm her if firefly was protecting her.

Setting the bundle of fur down at her paws, Firefly eyed the cats around her. Her mother may get sideways glances for this, and although Firefly still held a twinge of resentment towards her, each and every cat who openly voiced the kit should be turned away because of Mottlestar's transgressions would be meeting her outside of camp.

Her tail wrapping around the kit, she leaned down to whisper that everything would be okay. However, when she went to say the kits name, Firefly realized no one had asked for it. "Little one. What's your name?"

The tiny kit was never aware she needed to have a name. Her mama always called her darling or sweet baby, but she wondered if getting her own name was very special. She looked up at the older cat with a saf face. "I dont have one." she mewed quietly wondering if it was bad for her to not have a name.

Amberpaw followed Firefly and the kit into camp, stopping beside them once the she-cat finally set the kit down. Did her mother die before she could name her? I wonder if she had a name picked out. We'll never know who she was meant to be... The tom got lost in his thoughts, waiting to hear Firefly's response.

Perhaps she had been born only recently to not have a name. Well, a ThunderClan cat couldn't be nameless... But she had never named anything or anyone before! But as she peered down at the shy little kit that sat at her russet paws, an idea came to mind. A flower! But which flower? There were so many and she knew close to none of their names... What about that one large flower with the light pink petals that bloomed around this time? The way they bloomed for such a short time made Firefly liken them to being shy-

Yes. That was the one. "Peony. I'll name you Peonykit. Do you like that? It's a real pretty flower."

Peonykit looked up at firefly with a big smile. She had a name! Something for her very own. If she wasnt in a strange new place she would have been jumping around in excitement. "Its so pretty." she mewed loudly forgetting to be shy. Maybe it was a good idea to come along, she was quiet enjoying it and not much has happened yet. "Why is my name kit?" she asked Firefly, not knowing anything about the clan tradition on naming.

Peonykit, Amberpaw thought. The name suits her well. It truly was a beautiful name, one Copperlark might like. Amberpaw wondered if that flower-gifting friend of his would give Peonykit an peony. Of course, Thunderclan's latest addition had questions about clan life. More specifically, the naming system. Amberpaw sat back and observed with a reserved expression, letting Firefly handle this explanation.
