Ahh, yes - hunting. Amberpaw’s favorite. The patrol he was in crept through the forest, paying careful attention to the sounds and scents swirling around them. A certain smell tingled Amberpaw’s nose - a squirrel! Licking his chops, the large ginger tom stalked toward the creature, which sat on the forest floor a few paces away. The tom paused, feeling his muscles tense for the upcoming pounce. You’re mine. As a flame jumping from one fuel source to the next, Amberpaw sprang toward the fat squirrel…

…but was a heartbeat too late. The squirrel scurried off into a nearby tree. Pride hurt a little, Amberpaw shook the dust from his long fur and carried on with the hunt.


Amberpaw attempted to catch squirrel for 3 SP. He missed!

A new scent - a mouse. Amberpaw traced the scent trail to a small patch of grass nearby. The tom crouched down, waited a few moments, and then pounced once more. I got you this time...

…with ease, the Maine coon landed on the mouse and delivered the killing bite. He buried the creature, marking the spot so he could find it later. Then, Amberpaw continued forward.

Amberpaw attempted to catch mouse for 3 SP. It was a success!

Another squirrel, Amberpaw thought excitedly as, up ahead, he heard one scurrying around on the forest floor. The tom drank in its delicious scent as he stalked forward. Once he was within pouncing distance, Amberpaw paused, eyeballing the creature from his hiding place among the brambles. He tensed his body - a gun cocked and ready to fire. With a determined smile, Amberpaw exploded toward the squirrel…

…and landed directly on top of it. He delivered the killing blow and buried the freshkill for later.

Amberpaw attempted to catch squirrel for 3 SP. It was a success!
