It was time for the young she-cat to learn some battle moves, especially with the current tensions between Windclan and Shadowclan. Personally, Mudshriek didn't see why every cat was so upset with Batsong for revealing the truth at the gathering. Nightstar and Mottlestar should have thought about that before they decided to break the warrior code. He shook his head crossly. When he was a kit, he'd looked up to his clan leader and wanted to follow in his footsteps. If the youngsters in Shadowclan and Thunderclan had those kinds of cats to look up to, it wouldn't be long before the whole clan was filled with codebreakers. He only wished he'd been there to watch it happen. He stopped as they came to a clearing ringed by tall grasses, facing Badgerpaw.

"It's important to know how to defend yourself and your clan." Mudshriek explained, having found over the past few days that he quite enjoyed mentoring. "Pretend I'm an enemy warrior." He prompted. "Attack me."
