Happy Mothers Day [Sprucebark] [Open]

Order, timeliness, rules, and a strict attention to detail/planning.

All of these things encompassed who Sprucebark had grown up to be. So, it was only natural that he had his gift for Poppyshine all picked out ahead of time and all nicely prepared and his whole day was neatly planned for it and so on and forth.

What was not normal perhaps was how much he was second guessing himself over his plans. Things just HAD to be perfect for this day. The almost overly-perfective tom paced back and forth in front of the nice fish he had caught for his mum overthinking it wayyy to much.

"hmm but what if she would rather have a different thing on the special day... something not fish like we usually do..." he fretted overworrying.

"ghaaa... but I wont have time between my planned patrols to try and catch a squirrel or something like that" he sat there not sure what in world to do now.

He wanted to make the best day possible for such a great mother as Poppyshine but even though everything had gone according to plan so far he worried that it wasnt enough given all she had done for him and his siblings.

Well... it would have to be. The show must go on as they say.

He carefully picked up the fish and the little smooth rock he had found by the river to go with it and went over to where Poppyshine was.


"Happy Mothers day Mom" he purred.

He felt pretty bad in general. He had recently snapped at Rowansong over some dumb thing they had fought over... Sprucebark didnt even remember what it was at this point that Rowan and him were fighting over at the time... but during which he had been pretty mean to Poppyshine and just called her deputy. Something he felt pretty ashamed and awful for doing.

Poppyshine had taken such good care of all of them and the feud between him and Rowansong shouldnt drag any of that away from her.

"Thanks for being the best mom ever!" he purred happily giving her the fish and cool rock he had found.

"Im sorry I snapped earlier. Rowansong and I need to work on our differences perhaps"
