It was obvious to those trapped in the over crowded nest, that tonight was the full moon. The cold moon peered through the few open windows the cats could find. While they couldn't be among their clans to partake in the event they still had each other. Would they partake in something so natural to them? Or would they suffer in silence?

Minksplash's chest felt heavy as she looked up towards the moon. It was yet again time for the Gathering, and yet... they were still here. So far from home. Tail flicking, she peered up, looking at the many cats and faces she'd come to know, and had known already. "Full moon... again... I really hope everyone back home is okay..." She meowed out, though it was to nobody in particular. She felt wrong summoning a gathering, as it wasn't her place. That would be her mother's, if anything. Her mother... Poppyshine. Was Perchstar alright? Was her mother alright? How was the rest of Riverclan? Had any other leaders passed? They all were questions that swarmed her mind. Minksplash wanted to know... but didn't. It hurt her that she didn't.
