Sablestrike had got himself caught, and all he had to show for it was two Windclan warriors, a rogue guide, and an old fool cat. Mistworm or whatever he was called could be left here for all he cared, but bringing the two Windclanners back to the forest with him would be imperative. Bringing the two of them back to their own clan might serve to strengthen their alliance with Shadowclan, which might in turn lessen whatever punishment Sablestrike would receive for leaving the Highstones encampment without permission. Brackenwing seemed fine enough to travel, but her companion seemed like a different story. That unsightly scar on their throat wasn't just for show, it clearly had an effect on them, or at least how they spoke. If they were going to be a problem on the journey back, he would need to find a way to cull Whisperear from the roster of escapees.
