just in case [open; come learn about herbs!]

Plumleaf sat in the clearing, several bundles of herbs laid out in front of her. Several Skyclan cats had disappeared recently, and the thought of them wandering some unknown territory in Leafbare with no medicine cat had inspired her to teach her clanmates some of the basics of herb knowledge. Life in the forest had been unpredictable recently, and she wanted to ensure that they would be able to handle whatever came their way next. She'd spent the previous day offering lessons to everyone, though she tried her best not to make it seem like a chore. She understood if most cats found the thought of learning about herbs to be boring or a waste of time, but it was valuable information that could help if they ever found themselves alone with a serious injury.

A curious kit was the first to step into the clearing, her light ginger coat shining in the sun above the towering oaks. She had snuck out of the nursery to explore the camp a bit more, their refuge from the weird creatures that walked really weirdly. The other cats in her camp said they were... Twolegs? She didn't know the word well, so she wasn't really sure.

Noticing another cat in the clearing, the young she-kit padded up to them. The first thing she noticed was their weird scent. Not like the cats that were taken away by the Two-leggy-thingies, but like mice. SkyClan didn't usually smell like mouse, even if she was able to recognize the scent. The next thing she recognized were plant leaves, wrapped up with vines to make some sort of bundle. "Can I take one?" she asked, assuming that the cat was friendly. If they weren't, SkyClan would have driven them out, so she felt somewhat safe around them. And besides, they felt... peaceful.

Wolfblossom dropped a bird onto the fresh-kill pile, glancing around camp when she spotted her sister and little Amberkit together. "Hello, Amberkit," Wolfblossom greeted the kit with a warm smile before glancing at Plumleaf curiously. "Whatcha got there, Plumleaf?" She asked. Herbs were something she knew little of, despite both parents and two siblings being medicine cats. It simply hadn't been an interesting subject to her as an apprentice, but she had to admit to some basic curiosity as to what they did aside from heal the sick and injured.
