As the sun set on Highstones, a silver she-cat with a fluffy white tail trotted with purpose towards her younger brother. Upon reaching the black tom, she playfully prodded him with a paw. “Hey, I know you’re kinda stuck here, but do you wanna spar? I’ll let you go first.”

Sablestrike lay in his temporary prison, despondent eyes tracing faint markings on the ground. Days had passed since he had been confined to camp, and he was already considering revising his initial opinion on this punishment. Still lenient, but it felt like torture. Sablestrike looked up as he was poked, meeting his sister's eyes. He wasn't really in the mood for a spar at the moment, though it would no doubt be better than sitting around camp all day. "I suppose it's better than what I've been doing." Rising into an offensive stance, Sablestrike waited for Lighttail to assume a stance of her own before leaping at her with outstretched paws.

Lighttail couldn’t suppress a grin at the force behind her little brother’s paws. This was the Sablestrike she knew, a confident, powerful warrior! The silver she-cat was no pushover herself, though. In a flash, Lighttail caught a flying black limb in her teeth and nipped.

Sablestrike winced as Lighttail bit down on one of his legs. If she thought that was enough to stop him, then she was either underestimating him or just playing around, perhaps even both. He would show her that he wasn't one to be taken lightly! Freeing himself from the she-cat's grip, Sablestrike barreled into her, running his sister into the ground and pressing into her with all his weight.

Lighttail probably should’ve expected the onslaught. She was older, yes, but Sablestrike was a full-grown tom now and knew how to throw his weight around. Stars, he’d gotten big! She could still remember the fuzzy black kit she’d been introduced to in ThunderClan’s camp.

Lighttail is stunned.

A slight grin spread across Sablestrike's face as he regarded Lighttail. "What's wrong, sis? You're just letting me hit you at this point. Do you think so little of me?" He teased. Pushing off of her, Sablestrike jabbed at the she-cat's side with a sheathed paw.

Recoiling a little from the nip, Lighttail spotted her next target, her brother’s tail. The silver cat lunged for it, grabbing it and pulling. Not hard enough to do any real damage, but certainly enough to be felt.

As gentle as Lighttail was with his tail, it wasn't enough to stop the yelp that came from Sablestrike. It wasn't exactly painful, it was more... Uncomfortable? No, maybe it was painful? It felt weird, that was all he knew. Turning on his sister, the young tom batted at paw at Lighttail's nose, hissing as he did "Don't do that!" Stars, going for the tail? Did she have any class at all?

Lighttail puffed out her chest a bit. “Mother taught me that move. She said she used it on the Dark Forest cats!” Besides, it was a fair move, just a tad bit unconventional. She probably earned that smack though. But regardless, she already had another plan. Lighttail made like she was going to plow into her brother’s flank, only to drop low and go for his belly. Unfortunately, she seemed to have somehow inherited Snowfoot’s bad luck with that trick, or maybe Sablestrike just saw right through her. Either way, she got literally stepped on.
