A) a fling. A doesn’t give mouse-tails, not really, but he thinks your she-cat is pretty. Open to having kits.

B) a slow burn. Preferably friends at first, then over the moons it blossoms to something more and Astraeus realizes that he genuinely cares about this cat. Maybe he joins her Clan? This would be pretty long-term.

Astraeus is a bit of a flirt, but it’s hard for him to genuinely care about others. Very pleasant though. Deep down emotionally scarred from all the trouble he’s been through.

hear me out: sleepy and russet are frenemies and competitive during their apprenticeships and sleepy grows a lil crush on russet over time but doesn't realize it and then she sees russet gettin involved with a tom, sleepy gets weirdly jealous and confused and mad and completely shuts russet out and is rude to her and all the mean things until russet eventually calls her out and sleepy figures out why she feels like that and there's lots of sad heartbreak but they're really good friends after. it can be really cliche and cringe and sad

ahhh yes! Miscommunication for the win lol. If I do find a mate for Russet I’m definitely down for some Russet/Sleepy drama over that (as long as there’s an eventual resolution; they’re such opposites their interactions are really funny)

sleepy definitely couldn't live without having some sort of resolution and conversation that clears everything up in the end, i love their interactions lol
