This month, there will be no traditional gathering. In order to fulfill your characters’ gathering requirements, please post in the Clan topics posted in each Clan camp titled, “The Day the World Moved” and enjoy the (bumpy) ride!

1. In order to maintain transparency and accountability, the staff team has released a spreadsheet detailing the duties split between the team. This list is not exhaustive, but it is meant to give an idea of how responsibilities are handled by each member. Click the link here to view! (Please note: Given recent staffing changes, the spreadsheet is currently under revision and will be updated as soon as possible!)
2. Given recent changes and us always wanting feedback, staff would like to remind the site of the anon feedback submission form found here. Remember to keep criticism constructive and that bullying and harassment are against site rules. Thank you!
3. PLEASE NOTE: There is still a hold on all major plots for the time being. Any currently ongoing plots may continue as planned, but no new major plots will be approved at this time. Thank you!
4. As many have observed, the 2022-23 WCC Sitewide has kicked off! Buckle in, and please keep all paws and tails inside the vehicle at all times! Reach out to a staff member if you have any questions or concerns… And good luck!
quote of the month (submissions)
The quote of the month is designed to display the fun, inspiring, or impactful dialogue that our userbase comes up with. Quotes can be submitted at any time but staff will only select eligible quotes from the month prior to the release of the newsletter. Our goal is to feature different characters from all different clans and various users. Quotes will be selected by staff from the submitted pool and will be shared alongside their origin topic, along with the character name, roleplayer, and context for the quote.
Quotes can be submitted in the form linked. Please feel free to submit multiple quotes during every monthly time period. All submissions are anonymous, so of course you may submit your own as well. If you have a quote you'd like to see included in the quote of the month competition, fill out the form here!

Below you can find some brief notes of major things happening on the site. Please note this section will only cover events impacting multiple clans or the whole forest. Please visit your local clan pages for information on in-clan details.
Something nasty was brewing, after all. Just when things seemed to be calm amongst the five Clans, the ground shook beneath them… Literally. An earthquake has struck the forest, causing a myriad of problems and leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. What will the cats of the Clans do, and how will they recover?

- Daily Temperature: Leaf-Fall is making its exit from the forest, leaving chilly days and nights that only seem to get colder.

When brothers Adderdawn and Flutterpetal intervened, she yelled at them, shattering the friendship they had previously shared. A moon later, Daisybreeze attempts to apologize. Flutterpetal tentatively accepts, but Adderdawn condemns the half-hearted apology on behalf of himself, his brother, and Whisperear, who has not yet been apologized to. Sitewide Updates and Need-to-Knows:
An earthquake suddenly and without warning has struck the Clans! In each Clan camp, there are topics delineating what occurred in each respective Clan. Throughout the forest, the earthquake has caused many problems, ranging from cracks in the earth, to minor flooding, to injuries. Trees have been uprooted, dens have been disturbed, and there is a lingering sense of dread that there is more to come.
As this is the beginning of the sitewide, there isn’t much to keep updated on. However, look out for the next edition of the Official WCC Newsletter for a recap of events that happen throughout the month of November!
