Moonlily's tail swished in the pile of leaves as she anxiously awaited her sparring partner. She'd asked the tom for some help sparring, to keep up her strength, as there had been a rather peaceful time upon Skyclan's borders. Or, at least, she hadn't ran into any issues. So she waited, in her usual place not too far out of camp. Whenever he'd have the time, she'd be there, ready.

Crimsonflame did not expect to be asked for a spar by Moonlily of all cats. Blackbear was one thing, but Moonlily never struck him as much of a fighter. She was too sweet and gentle for that.

Still, Crimsonflame wasn't going to just tell her no. She had never been anything but kind to him whenever they spoke, and it wasn't like sparring was some huge burden to him. Maybe it would be a good idea, anyway. It could help take his mind off of certain things.

So he padded out of camp, meeting Moonlily at her usual spot. "You ready?"

Moonlily nodded towards her sparring partner. She was more than ready. "Let's go."

She turned on her paws, leaping towards her clanmate with claws sheated - but paws extended. Her goal was to bowl him over, initiating their combat.

Moonlily used Jumping Strike! She "dealt" 11 (8+3) damage and used 7 stamina

Moonlily leapt at him, and Crimsonflame braced himself, darting to the side. He never noticed this before, but every cat always seemed to start out the exact same way, bowling their opponent over.

"You might want to switch up your technique a bit. Every cat always starts out the same way, it's predictable. And it leaves you open. So do something they won't see coming."

With a grin, Crimsonflame darted in, attempting to get a hit on the molly before she had time to take in his words. He may have been helping her to get stronger, but he also still sort of wanted to win.

Getting in close, Crimsonflame pushed his shoulder into Moonlily's side in an aim to knock her over. "See? Take your opponent by surprise."

Crimsonflame is using Dodge And Fight. Counter attack is successful, dealing 7 damage and costing 7 stamina.
