Frostednight stared back cooly at Nightstalker when he just now told her she wouldn't actually be going to the Moonstone, but just outside it. It almost felt like a waste of steps and the very specialness that had brought her joy depleated in an instant. She was nothing more than a body to the mission. With no complaints, not unusual to her silent self, she settled down against the rock and stared straight ahead. Succumbing to the whispers, she resorted back to listening and deciphering.
The minutes ticked by until Nightstalker returned in a panic. She said nothing, her chattiness had disappeared. She would take him up on his meal-time request, but she felt back to square one... Maybe half a step further. So, the molly simply nodded. She didn't feel like asking what was wrong, she knew the Deputy would tell her or he wouldn't. Her fluffy back body turned, and started heading back to ThunderClan at a jog; as fast as one could down the slopes.
