| The pale warrior stepped through the trees, her paw steps graceful and silent as she moved along. Ever since becoming a warrior she had spent more and more time in the trees making sure to hone her skill there since her small size allowed her to climb higher than some of her more large companions. The small warrior was high up in the trees now, blue eyes scanning through the branches for any sign of prey. Once she spotted a robin, she crouched low as best as she could. Hunting in the trees was different than on the ground. Once she felt the branches steady, she pounced. Of course as soon as she left her branch, it groaned from the weight shift alerting the bird to its potential doom, scaring it off before the warrior could catch it. Thornstalker cursed the missed catch before moving herself lower. Maybe others in her patrol had more luck.

| ❒ Forestbreeze had found himself in yet another hunting patrol. He was starting to get more and more used to Skyclan's territory every time he went out to help with patrols. He never dropped his cautious demeanor but he was starting to rethink things. The Skyclanners had been nothing but kind with them. Perhaps it would do him good to get to know some of them. He knew that Honeypaw had been doing that exact thing. The warrior smiled as he thought about the friendly apprentice. He had no doubts that Honey could make friends with just about anybody. He could only hope he'd be able to do the same. ❒ After roaming around for some time, Forestbreeze came across a bird just minding its own business. He dropped down into the hunting crouch and inched closer until he was just a tail-length or two away. He paused for a moment before leaping right at it without wasting time. He sure hoped it would turn into a success.

| Lichensun always preferred border patrols, but he wasn't one to turn down hunting in the most prey-plentiful time of year! Originally following closely behind Thornstalker, the brown tabby eventually opted to stay not in the branches, but instead to the earth. His stockier build had never sat well in hunting within the leaves above. And besides, the recent rainstorms might've damaged the trees' limbs; it was better to err on the side of caution. He didn't want to add to Fogfeather and Plumpaw's already busy duties.
Some searching later split the warrior from his patrol, and scenting a mouse, Lichensun dropped to the ground. The rodent was behind some tree roots, apparently distracted- the fluffy tom stalked close behind, bunching up his back legs for just the right moment.. And struck. With a swift bite to the prey's throat, the mouse became fresh-kill.

| It seemed the other two were fairing well on the patrol. Doing a lot better than what she had been doing.. A soft growl escaped the small she-cat. She couldn't let her clan down, like she was currently doing. The pale she-cat stayed in the trees, being careful to stay on sturdy branches to not disturb any potential prey. It took a moment before the she-cat found a squirrel. She repeated much of what she had learned and then pounced. This time she had managed to catch something, the squirrel had gone limp in her jaws from a well place bite. After she regained her balance in the trees, she was quick to jump down to bury her catch before she would return to the trees.
