Ashenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

How odd it was, that he was doing a ceremony in Thunderclans camp. He did not like the circumstances or the shape that every cat was in, if it was up to him truly, he'd delay the ceremonies until they were home once more. But... this was his sister's kit, Ashenkit's siblings were already apprenticed and warriors, it would be unfair to hold them back. Nightstalker made his scramble up the high rock, his paw twinging as he went. Taking a moment to look over the camp, he called for his clan.


"All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, gather in the shadow of Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Ashenkit padded up to Jaggedrock and sat, tail curling behind them.
They realized that these weren’t the best circumstances, but because of them, Ashenkit wasn’t even working to help out the clan yet.
So they stayed quiet and decided to be thankful that they were becoming in apprentice at all.
They glanced around at their clanmates, and made sure that they were in the center, where everyone could see them.
This was their big day, and they didn’t care if anyone thought they were being a diva in the moment.

Nightstalker wasn't too certain on his decision, but he knew how rough of a time the cat he was going to give this kit to was having at this time. This would be a real challenge for the cat that he was giving Ashenkit too, but he was actively putting his trust in her on the line.

"Ashenkitkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Ashenpaw. Your mentor will be Roseburn. I hope Roseburn will pass down all she knows on to you."

"Roseburn, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You are an excellent warrior and you have shown yourself to be tenacious and passionate. You will be the mentor of Ashenpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Ashenpaw."
