Honeypaw stood up with his mentor and gave her a warm smile, brushing his fur against hers as they walked. He felt lighter knowing that Iceheart was feeling better. “Good.” He said simply, softly.

“I know I’m just your apprentice. But I’m your friend, too. And I’ll always be here for you, okay?” He said softly, knocking his head against her shoulder affectionately for a moment before resuming trotting home.
