Fogpaw sighed deeply, padding in third after Dovesight. The other medicine cats, while tolerable enough, didn’t seem too eager to lend a hand towards his and Plumpaw’s plight— he assumed they must have had their own problems to deal with. Fogpaw wasn’t exactly familiar with interclan issues, as they hadn’t interested him before now. He supposed he didn’t have a choice but be interested in them now; he was SkyClan’s medicine cat. He had to pay more attention to things than ever before. Tucking himself near Dovesught’s resting body, Fogpaw shut his green eyes and prepared himself for his first ever revelation. -- Fog opened his eyes to a beautiful sunrise, casting a brilliant glow onto his surroundings— a sparse forest, impossibly tall pine trees framing a flowered field. The still waking sky was painted stunning shades of orange, pink, and purple, fluffy clouds dotting the skyline but not concealing the rising sun, bright and blinding and oh so stunning. Fogpaw was so enamored by the view he almost didn’t notice the silhouettes in front of him, shadows stretched along the trees and grass. | Following the guidance of Fawnshine, Fuzzybelly also put his nose onto the Moonstone. He wondered briefly if they would show him much of anything, since ShadowClan seemed to be doing alright.
He let a deep breath come and go before succumbing to the cool yet inviting environment of StarClan. |

| Apparently waiting to see what other cats did was an effective solution to Plumpaw's confusion. She eagerly followed the other cats into the cave, finding a spot next to Fogpaw. She couldn't help but wonder what Starclan would tell her. Maybe news of Beechfang? Perhaps some eye-opening prophecy that would convince Briarstar to let the former medicine cat return home? As hopeful as she was, Plumpaw knew it wasn't likely. | Batsong sat with her co-workers as she slowly fell asleep and had a starclan dream
“The sun scorched marshes of yesterday make way for fresh greenleaf tears, flooding the foundation upon which they were created.”
And a vision of the sun shines harshly, scorching everything below it. There are pawsteps stamped into the dry and cracking marsh. Water seems to rise from these prints.
She blinked so confused by this... what in the world??
Why starclan couldnt just say directly what they wanted her to know was beyond her ... she sat there dumbfounded by it. Slowly waking up from after it she blinked a little... She slowly realized what it meant and her heart dropped... Scorch and that shadowclan girl he had told her about... Starclan had somehow found out about them... Batsong had known for a long time but she didnt tell a soul at Scorch's request. He was a long time friend of hers since kithood and she couldnt do that to him...
But now starclan knew and they wanted her to share this with the windclan leadership no doubt. She panicked a little but tried not to outwardly show it.
What the rising water from the prints still made no sense to her but she doubted anything good would come from a forbidden romance that starclan now wanted more to know about. She hoped that she could figure out how to navigate this carefully and with care. ______________________________________
