It's been a few moons now, since Hawkheart and Coyotegrin became an official couple. As it stood now, they were currently the only couple in the clan. While this made her smug, it was also a striking reminder of the low numbers of the clan. But today, the three newest additions were making their first appearance in the outside world. Well, outside the nursery. Groomed to the upmost of perfection, Goldenkit, Daisykit, and Wuickkit stood at her and Hawkheart's paws as they stood in the entrance and blocked the doorway.
Goldenkit was the eldest, named after her mother due to the striking resemblance of Goldenstar's golden pelt. Then, there was Daisykit, the second eldest. Daisykit was almost a spitting image of herself. And finally, the youngest was Quickkit, a perfect blend of herself and Hawkheart.
"Now, kits." Coyotegrin started in a light-hearted voice with a twinge of sternness. "When you leave the nursery, you should be on your best behavior with the best manners. Your father and I will be right here. Are you three ready? " Coyotegrin cocked her head, and waited for their responses. With a nod and a grin, the current queen stepped back to allow the kits to stream out.

The yellow tomkit was already large, larger than his two younger sisters, and his deep blue gaze was inquisitive and confident as he peered out around his parents at the rest of camp. It didn't scare him, the thought of being outside the nursery. No, rather, it excited him, to be able to show the Clan his face for once. Soon he would be made an apprentice, it was only a matter of time, and then he could really show everyone what he was about.
"Yes, Mother," Goldenkit mewed, giving Coyotegrin and his sisters a small smile. "I will keep Daisykit and Quickkit safe, do not worry. Right?" His gaze trailed to the siblings in question, and he raised his eyebrows with a larger grin.

Daisykit sat excited next to her family. She was smaller than her older brother but about average size for a kitten of her age. She wanted to make her mum and dad proud. She was generally good at following rules and if mum said to be on best behavior she would do her absolute best to make her happy.
Daisykit grinned at her older brother with a nod yeah mum we will be good . Promise she squealed excited. She was so ready to show her parents she could be trusted and couldn’t wait to prove to them she would be a good warrior and apprentice.
Grinning up at her older brother she nodded yeah golden kit will know what to do

Stars he had never thought he would have kits. Hawkheart assumed it would happen at some point, but just, he had never given it any real thought before. Then Coyotegrin had been pregnant, and then he had three fuzzy bundles of joy at his paws. Finally they were leaving the nest as well, it was quite the range of emotions the tom had gone through. With an approving grunt, the large tom gave each of his kits a little tap with his paw. "Don't let anyone trample you, if anything, trample them... but try to do as your mother says and be good." The last part was an afterthought, assuming that his mate wouldn't quite want their kits acting like he had, and still did on occasion.

Whisperpaw
Whisperpaw hadn’t spent much time with Coyotegrin recently, since she had kitted and spent time in the nursery as a result. They were excited to meet the kits fully, and now they spotted them coming out of the nursery. Whisperpaw smiled brightly and walked over to meet the group. “Coyotegrin, it is great to see you,” they mewed. They gave Hawkheart a nod as well before turning to look at the three little ones. “What beautiful kits you have. Hello, everyone.” They lowered their head so their soft voice would be easier to be heard by the kits. “Are you all excited to be out of the nursery?”

Blazefang trotted over to join the little gathering. Coyotegrin’s kits were outside! This was quite the occasion! “Yeah, are you guys looking forward to being warriors someday?” she asked them enthusiastically.

Coyotegrin beamed down at her oldest, who was just like her and always taking charge. Always so charming and polite too. A natural-born leader, if you will. Her head snapped to the side as a familiar voice greeted her, followed by another. "Thank you Whisperpaw, I'm excited to get back to my duties. This is Goldenkit, Daisykit, and Quickkit." Her calico fur blended with Hawkheart's tabby brown as she leaned into his solid frame before carefully watching everyone circle around the kits. It was difficult, letting go, even just a little bit. She would have to completely soon, as they will be becoming apprentices. But, truth be told, that probably wouldn't happen. It would be impossible for her to not interfere in her kit's training. But that was still moons away... She had time.

Daisykit waved her tail at the quiet apprentice that came over to greet them. She did her best not to stare at the scars on their throat... was that why he couldnt talk so well?? Daisykit wondered to herself.
At all times, Daisykit was thinking about making her parents pleased with her. She had learned that it was probably not the best to question this apprentice about his injuries but she was so curious. However, the want of approval from her mother and father always outweighed any curiousity so she gave a formal nod to them instead. She wanted to be seen as a grown up and that is what she tried to act as such.
Soon after, another warrior came by and asked about if they were excited to be warriors someday. She nodded excited "oh yes I am very much so" she said respectfully.
Mum? can you be my mentor when I am an apprentice? she asked curiously

Quickkit peered out from behind Goldenkit's larger frame. being the youngest, she had inherited her mother's small build and looked much like a scrawny rat. she did not say anything as larger cats crowded around. when her father approached, she hurried from behind her brother to Hawkheart's giant paws, purring loudly.
"watch this!" she mewed, completely ignoring the other cats around. she crouched down and paused, every muscle in her body tense. then she pushed with her hindpaws. her hindlegs thumped against the ground as she leaped, causing her to lose her balance and land clumsily on all four paws. she winced at her clumsy landing. and just when all her clanmates were watching too!
she sat up straight, looking ruffled. "I want to be a Tunnerler when I grow up," she mewed, answering one of the warrior's question and trying to change the topic.

"I want to learn tunneling from my mother," Quickkit replied quickly but firmly, starring at the unfamiliar warrior. great starclan, is that supposed to be her clanmate?

Hawkheart looked on approvingly, pleased that his kits were so eager to be out of the nursery. Stars knew he had been, and had immediately become everyone else's problem as soon as he was let out. He still was, except for Coyotegrin, he'd never be her problem. Or his kits, now. He had some respect in him, after all. "Quickkit," The large tom mewed gruffly, "I'm sure your mom would love to teach you tunneling when you're old enough." He was pleased that Quickkit had seemed to inherit his... spirit, he'd say.
