It's cold outside (Open)

Hornetkit woke up feeling slightly more irritated than always. Usually, he would pay no mind to the somewhat uncomfortable position of his paws or the specks of dust on his fur. But well, today was not his day. The cold air of the day was pretty unforgiving to all who decided to sleep alone. But for the tom the main source of crankiness was, a slightly longer than expected, nap. He purred a little after standing up and stretching. One thing that kept Hornet at bay was the fact that none of his siblings were near him at the moment... And finding a quiet corner of the nursery was a big feat as well!
"Good jowb me." The meow was a very sleepy one yet couple of moments later after a yawn or two everything was back to normal. The only question that was left was what would occupy the troublemaker until he feels hungry.

The day was windy, and almost had a bite to its cold Foxkit had never felt before. Her long, fluffy fur helped somewhat-- but it was still far too cold to stay out the nursery for long. Foxkit sighed; it felt like there was hardly anything to do. Being limited to just the nursery was even worse-- at least out in camp she could sometimes find bugs to catch! All there was in the nursery was heaps and heaps of moss.

She padded back to the familiar nursery walls, and slipped quietly into the den-- it seemed there were still some other kits or tired queens attempting to sleep. She could probably find somewhere to play away from them.. as bored as she was, she really didn't want to get scolded for being too loud. Foxkit headed toward a (probably) empty corner of the nursery, not really looking to where she was going.. and immediately bumped into a wall of brown and grey fur.

"Oh! Sorry!" Foxkit almost-squeaked, taking a few pawsteps back, "'Didn't see you."

Beetlekit crouched low to the ground, creeping after her sister. She was bored, as usual, and decided it would be the perfect time to practice her stalking skills. She almost laughed as Foxkit padded quietly through the nursery without even a glance at Beetlekit. Bunching her muscles, she pounced as soon as Foxkit started talking to the other kit, slamming into her sister and knocking her over.

"Ha!" She exclaimed triumphantly. "Got you, fluff-brain! A warrior should always stay on their guard!" Her tail lashed playfully, eyes gleaming with mischief.

Everything was suspiciously quiet. That meant one thing only could be done. Not walking out into the cold, no, Hornet without knowing the possible repercussions decided it still wouldn't be worth it. Cleaning his fur and paws to look presentable had to do. Sadly as soon as his paw approached his muzzle someone bumped into Hornetkits back. Oh, they were so... mouse-brained. How could- he turned around just to face the other cat. Foxkit!

"Watch your paws, will you?" He blurted out. A few quick licks to his back followed. "You can try-" Chubby tom stopped mid-sentence and stared at the pouncing she-cat. The moment of impact was when he winced.

"Because of the clanmates or... you two are sisters? Right?" He took a step back raising his front paw in case she tried the same thing with him. Not that play-fighting wasn't something he liked it just had to be agreed upon not like with Troublemaker Trio or apparently this pair.

"Umph-!" Foxkit was suddenly much more glad she was in the nursery; being knocked over hurt but at least she fell on soft moss. She scrambled back up to her paws, "That's not fair!" complained Foxkit, "Real warriors wouldn't sneak up on other warriors!" Still, she felt some embarrassment rising in her fur; how hadn't she seen either of the kits?

Turning toward the tom-kit, "Yeah.. Beetlekit's my sister," she answered, eyeing the other she. "Um.. You're Beekit- no, Hornetkit?" the she-kit asked, trying to recall the older kit's name. Sheepishly she added, "I really didn't see you, sorry."
