Hunting in Silent Judgement [open]

Frostedpaw waited by the a pine tree in front of what they called 'The Pine Grove'. Her head grumbled with thoughts. "The Pine Grove? Really? Couldn't think of a better name? Nightstalker sent me here to wait for the rest of the patrol? Does he want me to die or something? The mud- ugh the mud all over these stupid marshes. Disgusting. I can't believe I have to live in this filth... Her disgruntled thoughts kept rolling as she waited impatiently for the rest of the patrol. She took to grooming her fur, as interesting as the eclipse she was born under. She missed Fawnpatch. Fawnpatch was probably the most interesting cat in this stupid clan, and she was gone. At least her stupid mother died in that fight too. Frostedpaw didn't need her anyway. Weak.

Echopaw silently approached the pine Grove, not much thought in his head other than wanting to get this over with so he could go back to not interacting with other cats he didn't know. Maybe Leopardsun would be waiting for him back at camp or Marshmallow... Well he wouldn't be here if Marshmallow didn't sign him up for this patrol.. so maybe she just wanted extra training for him?

As he arrived at the spot, he simply nodded his head as a greeting to the other apprentice, deciding he didn't really want to talk at the moment.

Vixenpaw dragged her paws forward until she stood in front of Echopaw. she never really spoke to either of the other cats here before, and she wasn't interested. she sat down stiffly, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Leafpaw followed her brother, Echopaw. She could be doing so many better things right now. like sleeping, or better yet, eating.

Snowfoot padded over to the group of apprentices. “All right,” she meowed. “Let’s do this.” She turned to Vixenpaw with a look of concern. “You okay?” she asked her apprentice. Losing Deerleap and Sootwhisker had to be hard for her, and Snowfoot made a point of checking in from time to time.

Vixenpaw stiffened as Snowfoot turned to her. she searched her mentor's gaze. did she think she was weak? did she think she, Vixenpaw, could not handle the deaths of her parents? her parents died for the clan. they were true warriors. she should be proud, not grieving. How dare Snowfoot try to take that from her!

"I'm fine!" she snapped, trying to keep her fur from bristling.

Snowfoot was a bit startled by her apprentice’s reaction. Making a mental note to speak to Vixenpaw later, she addressed the gathered apprentices. “If nobody else is joining, move out!”
