Honeykit immediately dropped into a crouch, wiggling his hindquarters before launching forward. He pounced on the mossball with a triumphant ‘mrrp!’ of excitement.
He turned back to Icepaw and tossed the mossball back to her, purring excitedly. He watched her move eagerly, excited to see her actually let loose and play.

Icepaw nodded approvingly. There was a lot incorrect with his form, but he was just a kit. She was not about to scold him or correct his form when this was just all good fun for him. When he tossed the ball back her way, she caught it easily on her paw. She shifted and bowled the ball again, this time in a slightly different direction and going faster, so he would have to sprint after it if he wanted to catch it before it ran into anything.

Honeykit purred in delight, immediately chasing after the ball and this time taking a small tumble in his effort to catch it. He looked no worse for wear though, popping right back up and tossing the ball back to Icepaw. The two continued like that for quite some time, Honekit more than happy to keep Icepaw focused on different games until finally, inevitably, Icepaw is drawn back away to her duties as an apprentice. Until then, though, they had this little moment of peace.
