IC:

Batsong sat nervously in the warriors den... that weird feeling passed over her again.  She closed her eyes she knew what it was now ... She was going to have Slightfrost's kits.  Up until this point she was able to keep her and Slightfrost (Skyclan) a pretty gaurded secret.  Only her adopted mother (Swiftspirit) and her friend (Scorchtalon) knew... but it wouldnt be long before others would find out with kits on the way she could not hide that.

Sighing she got to her shaky paws... she knew what she had to do as much as she was unsure she knew that Goldenstar must be told about this.  

Walking to the leaders den was nerve wracking.  Batsong was a quiet shy cat and doing something like this was not easy for any cat especially her.


"G-G...goldenstar??" she called out stuttering pretty hard the nerves she had were not helping one bit with her speech.

"w..w... we n-need to talk" she meowed barely able to get the words out.

waiting a bit for Goldenstar to respond before moving in she sat down before her leader.  

"Th-- ..e..tehr.... There is s-s..something I n-n...need to tell you...." she said in a hushed whisper looking down at her paws unable to look her leader in the eyes for now.

Ryekit saw Batsong walking across camp and immediently thought of the conversation that him, Scorchtalon and Blazekit had about sneaking into Goldenstar's den. "Hey Batsong!" The almost-apprentice ran up to the pregnent warrior and look at her with earnest. "Is it true that you and Scorchtalon snuck into Goldenstar's den when you were both kits and then messed up her den?" The tom wasn't shouting to the whole camp, but rather he was keeping his voice at a normal tone, almost conversational.

Batsong's ears twitched and she looked down at the kit who ran over to her. She grinned with a bit of mischief look in her eyes. "y-yes its true... I dared him to do it and h-he actually did it!" she purred thinking of the fond memory of that time.

"I dont think Goldenstar ever found out about that she giggled with a warm smile. "hmm it appears Scorchtalon doesnt mind telling the story now hmm?" she added on

Ryekit smiled at the she-cat. "I guess he doesn't since he was bragging about it pretty well." he laughed and then looked around. "Perhaps you could give me some hints and tips on how to sneak around? It wouldn't be for getting into the leader's den, but rather on how to become a better warrior and to better serve the clan." he explained. The silver tom had no urge to get into straight up trouble with the leader, but if he could cause a little bit of mischief that would be fun.
