A Little Too Eager (Open)

Blazekit watched the grownups leave and grinned at Ryekit again. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

Scorchtalon caught on immediately as he observed the sly looks the kits were sending each other and the convenient timing of Mistysky's nap.

"Oh yea, I think I'll go out and hunt for a bit. You know, lots of important things to do and all that. Have fun being perfectly well-behaved kits!"

Ryekit flicked his tail. "Of course Scorchtalon, we would do nothing else but being perfectly behaved." he said nonchalantly. After the orange fluffy tom had left, he turned towards Blazekit, "Let's do it." he said with a grin and with a flick of his paw.

"here's the plan. Mistysky is alseep and Scorchtalon is gone, so we will wait a little bit, maybe play and then sneak into the den."

“Good plan, let’s look innocent for a bit first!” Blazekit whispered, and then lightly smacked Ryekit’ shoulder with a paw. “Tag, you’re it!” she giggled, before sprinting away.

Ryekit sighed and then dashed after Blazekit. "You'll never get away because I had longer legs!" he yowled. As he caught up with the flirty she-cat he tackled her and pinned her to the ground. "Ha! I told you that I would get you." he said with confidence and a small little smirk on his face as the ginger cat was under him.

Blazekit struggled under Ryekit. “You always pin me,” she muttered. The kit looked around. “Seems like nobody’s watching,” she whispered. “You stand watch, I’ll sneak into the den.”

Ryekit smirked at the younger kitten. "Of course, Blazekit." he purred and flirted with her while looking her directly in the eyes. As Blazekit looked around she said that no one was watching. The silver tom got up off of her and then ran to guard the enterance. "Go for it." he whispered.

Blazekit’s heart pounded as she slipped towards the den, paws trembling, hoping she didn’t get caught. She padded into the den, gazing at the open space and patting the oh-so-comfortable nest with her paws. Turning around, she gave Ryekit a look. “You wanna come in? I can take a turn on guard if you want.”

Ryekit rolled his eyes as the flirting went right over the she-cat's face. "Sure, Blazekit." he said sighing just a little bit. This was not as thrilling as he thought that it would be given that there was no one around to catch them or scold them...two senior warrior's had basically given them permission to do the entire thing after all.

Blazekit slipped out of the den to let Ryekit in, watching for any adults who might spoil their fun. She’d noticed the flirting, but truthfully wasn’t at all sure how to respond. She thought Ryekit was cute, but didn’t quite know how to tell him.
