Lilacpaws Assessment

Midnightpelt waited for Lilacpaw to meet her, her pelt quivering just slightly from her proudness for Lilacpaw.

Lilacpaw bounded out of the apprentince den. She couldn't wait to see her mentor, she would be one step closer to being a warrior! She stoped in frount of her mentor and looked up, waiting to see what she would do today!

Midnightpelt smiled softly down at her apprentice. "Today is your assessment." she said, "You will try to catch as much prey as you can. I will be watching, out of your view.. Do not look for me because it will prove to not work. Keep your mind on catching prey."

OOC: make sure you dont catch every thing that crosses your path.

Lilacpaw nodded, her eyes were full of pride. She turned around and skipped into the forest.

Ooc: YOU KILLED MY MENTOR :C! You won't be able to see me becoming a warrior :(.

OOC: Midnightpelt will ALWAYS look down on her best apprentice. AND you can always visit her in the dream territory too.

Midnightpelt smiled at ran silently after Lilacpaw, keeping well out of her sight.

Lilacpaw opened senses, smelling the air for the thick scent of prey. Mouse! She thought already stalking the prey from a while away just to be safe. Suddenly she was inches away from her prey and she smiled licking her lips. She pounced extending her claws to reach the mouse that was almost in her grip. The mouse stumbled away, making Lilacpaw fall, her face also fell. She felt disapointed, but continued to look for more prey.

Midnightpelt smiled slightly from where she stood in the shadows as she watched Lilacpaws first attempt on catching the prey. Just don't give up yet.. she thought to herself.

Lilacpaw shivered, trying to get rid of the slightest bit of the feeling she was being watched. Swiftly she turned toward the sound of a frog hopping loudly into a pile of fallen leaves. Lilacpaw smiled to herself before quietly sneeking toward the hoping prey. The frog was to late and Lilacpaw had slashed her white, now covered in frog blood, claws through the frog. It sat dead and Lilacpaw picked it up and carried it to hole she had made earlier and sat it down in there.

Perfect. Midnightpelt thought. She backed away slowly and silently padded a few yards ahead of her apprentice so she could get a better eye on what was happening.

Lilacpaw only smelled two more prey. They weren't close together so that might take awhile. Afterall it was Leafbare! Slowly the older apprentince came up on a small rabit. She felt a pang of hunger and pounced on the bunny. Yet another win for Lilacpaw. She was glowing as she too dropped that in the hole.

Midnightpelt smiled softly and sniffed the air. She herself could only smell 3 or 4 other small animals, and she wondered how many Lilacpaw could smell.

Lilacpaw grinned as more prey snuck out of their hidding places. She snuck, but the closer she got the less that she smelled. Soon all that could be heard or smelled was two mice and a small bird. Liacpaw made her way slowly toward the mice, they were both near by. Slowly she saw the first mouse. Closing her eyes she pounced, killing the mouse under her paws in a heart beat. She held it in her paws and sat it down making her way toward the next mouse.
