A stiff, cold wind ruffled the coats of the medicine cats as they made the trek to Highstones. Below, the forest was cloaked in shades of deep reds and browns, the last hints of green mostly faded away as leafbare continued to approach. The half-moon rose high in the sky, beckoning the medicine cats toward the moonstone. What prophecies awaited them on this cold night?

“A misguided heart and hesitant paws will bring about your downfall.”
She hadn’t stopped puzzling over it, even when she was in the middle of fending off RiverClan. What could it mean? Who was misguided? She knew pretty much everyone in WindClan better then ‘erself, and they were all stubborn as rocks. Just like ‘er- but they weren’t the type to be misguided without yowling about it fit to wake the dead.
But why would StarClan send her a prophecy about somecat not even in her darn Clan? And who was about to be downfall-ed? Her personally? WindClan? The whole forest? Or maybe just some rando? Who knew- only StarClan. And hopefully they’d give her some insight on the whole mess.
Hentooth bounded up the last few fox-lengths to the relative shelter of Mothermouth. First one here again, it seemed. Eh. She was closest and fastest, after all.
The young medicine cat sat down and licked down some of her chest fur. Maybe StarClan would give her some insight tonight.

Even with fur as think as his he could still feel some of the cold wind cutting through his fur. He braced himself against the wind a few times on his trip here. Stars.. it was going to be a harsh leaf-bare wasn't it? Green eyes looked to Hentooth as he approached the rocks, his head dipping in greeting, choosing to remain silent for now.

Thankfully, Muddythorn had had it all together for this half-moon meeting, and didn't have to run to highstones in order to make it there on time. He arrived on the tail of Thunderclan's bright white medicine cat, and when the two toms stopped walking, he greeted Dovefrost with a quick dip of his head. As per usual, Hentooth was already waiting there, but he justified to himself that she barely had anywhere to walk. Muddythorn, on the other paw, had the longest journey, which took far too long in his opinion. "Hentooth, Dovefrost. How're you and your clans? Leaf-bare's definitely coming soon, that breeze is really getting under my pelt." And that was saying something for a tom as tick-furred as him.
The previous meeting had brought with it a cryptic prophecy, and although he had a feeling Bloodstar had done something to act on it, Muddythorn himself still had no idea what to make of it. At least he'd got it off his chest, that was enough to give him some peace of mind.

Cloverheart came not long after Muddythorn arrived, grumbling to herself as she shoved her way up Highstones. The stiff wind cut right through her thin pelt, and just from the journey there she was sore shivering. She muttered her grievances halfway up the rocks, until she reached the other medicine cats and settled down.
"Too cold for this, isn't it?" She mewed, the words chased with a short, dry laugh. Bowing her head to the gathered cats, she offered them all a quiet 'hello' before turning to watch for Basilpaw's arrival.

Basilpaw finally rounded the last hill and caught sight of Mothermouth, and of all the other medicine cats waiting for her. The she-cat had been quite tired and sluggish the last several days, either because of her heart or the cold weather she wasn't quite sure. However, as she joined the group and greeted all of them with a tired nod and a purr, she tried her best to still her racing heart before they went in to meet StarClan.
