Predators About [C]

Wolfblaze sat at the entrance to camp, shaking out her thick pelt while she awaited her clanmates. The air held a chill, but thankfully not one that was too unpleasant. The sun's rays were obscured by thick clouds, and she could smell rain on the horizon. Thankfully, the clouds weren't crying yet, and that meant that she could take out a patrol. There had been a dog scented on their territory, and dogs were dangerous beasts. It had to be run off before it walked right into a mentor and apprentice training or something. The rest of the patrol would arrive soon, then they could do some real battle!

He was not pleased.

Alright, maybe a bit flattered. His battle skills had apparently been acknowledged- after all, he had fought two foxes as an apprentice, and fended off an owl and a badger as a warrior (not at the same time… but he might as well say so). But he… he could do this. Just yowl a bit, get in a good position so once it’s weakened, he’d get the credit for killing it.

Sounded like a plan.

Prickletail trotted over to where Wolfblaze sat. Humph. He hardly knew the older molly, apart from the time she’d brought a rogue nearly-apprentice-aged-kit into camp. He nodded briefly and sat down, hoping Applemousebrain wasn’t on this patrol.
