Through the Flower Field We Go [c]

The Flower Field. Through all the places that he'd been briefly introduced, the strikingly beautiful flower field seemed to have caught Dreampaw's attention the most. The fragrance of the widely-spreaded flower field made him have to stop right in his tracks. They were simply— astonishingly ravishing. Each different flowers, all decorated by elegantly-looking petals, blossoming in their own shades of uniquely painted colors. He couldn't understand how these flowers managed to survive the chilling breezes of leaf-fall, though he was glad they did. Leaf-bare was coming in soon, and these flowers would slowly wilten because of the harsh cold. Though never experiencing it for himself, Dreampaw assumed it would surely be a lot harsher than this— hearing from what he had been told of.

If leaf-fall was already this chilly, leaf-bare would chill him to the spine. Though for now, they shook that thought away from their head, and managed to make their way through the wonderful parade of flowers. They had been careful, looking over every step to make sure that they hadn't acidentally stepped on a beautifully fresh flower. Maybe a few unintentional smaller ones, but he surely hadn't mean to do that. As he filled his nostrils of the flower field's scent, the young tom couldn't help but to allow a bright smile to slowly appear on his maw. It was wonderful. More beautiful than anything he ever saw before.

Maybe if he have gotten to see this with another cat— it would've been even more wonderful. Instantly, his thoughts darted to Silverlight, despite not even knowing why. He seemed like a supportive mentor. An excellent, and experienced one at that. Perhaps.. Just perhaps, a part of him did with to coincidentally encounter with him here. They both hadn't gotten to properly know each other yet, and an occasion like this would surely help.

Whenever the camp felt too 'stuffy' or he just desired some time alone to gather his thoughts, the tom had two specific places he sought out. The first, and his favorite, was The Lone Stump. He loved to overlook the entirety of his clan's territory from their. He loved to sit there and appreciate the beauty WindClan's territory had to offer. Some of the other clans may think that it seemed boring and plain but to him, it felt like freedom. There was so much open space to just run around and allow the fresh breeze to comb through his fur. The second place, and the one he was currently headed toward, was The Flower Field. Now that was a different kind of beauty. It was held a delicate beauty that could certainly be appreciated by almost everyone.

That day had felt like it was never going to end. He had awoken with less energy than normal due to him not getting much sleep. The memories of the family that he'd lost still ached in his heart. It'll probably never stop hurting. It's why he still tried to perform his duties to the best of his ability. His clan deserved nothing but the best. He could mourn by himself later. It's why he was heading to The Flower Field. He needed some time to himself to regroup his thoughts and wayward feelings.

The moment he arrived he had sensed another presence nearby. Despite this, he didn't go on alert. Instead, the warrior headed straight for them. As soon as the other individual was identified, the warrior smiled to himself as he hurried over— his paws subconsciously careful of stepping around the flowers. He felt his spirits lift just seeing young Dreampaw. "Dreampaw!" he called as he beamed at his apprentice, "Fancy seeing you here! Came to clear my head for a bit. May I join ya on your little walk?"

"Dreampaw!" The call caught him off-guard. Instrinctively, Dreampaw turned around, only to immediately recognize the familiar warrior's voice. It was Silverlight! He smiled back, greeting his mentor with a warm nod. "Have you also come here to clear your mind?" He meowed, suddenly realizing that he'd never actually actually spoken to his mentor before. "This place looks beautiful. It surely is very calming, too." He purred. Though in a corner of his eye, Dreampaw had spotted an oddly colorful creature, fluttering its wings as it flew across the field.

His eyes slowly switched from looking at Silverlight, to now curiously peering at the beautiful flying creature. It landed on a bright, dappled pink lily. Cautiously, he approached it, wanting to examine a closer look. Though before he could reach a rabbitlength away, it flew off to a distance. It left him frowning for a second— though only a second. Turning back, the tom trotted over to his mentor, smiling with genuine joy and relaxation. Perhaps it was the warrior's appearance here, or maybe just the flowers, but Dreampaw felt his spirits being cheered up more than usual. He'd even have a nice conversation with Silverlight, maybe.
