The stray kit (any TC apprentice or warrior post only)

Deadfrost sniffed the air. Dog! He quickened his pace and found himself running towards Sunningrocks. He burst through some bushes, and stared with horror. There, crouched on a smooth rock, was a tiny kit. A big dog loomed over it, drool hanging from its jaws. Oh no! Deadfrost charged forward, and slammed head-first into the dog. It yelped in surprise, and whirled around to face it's attacker. Deadfrost leaped to one side, and grabbed hold of the dog's neck. He bit down hard, but the dog's slick fur was hard to bite through. The dog shook itself violently, and Deadfrost fell. Instantly, it lunged at his neck, and bit down. Pain flared through his whole body, and he felt blood begin to spurt out. He managed to lock his claws in the dog's nose, and tear it open. The dog screamed, and let go of Deadfrost. Deadfrost heaved himself painfully to his paws, and spat at the dog through to downpour of rain. "Don't ever come back here and don't ever try to hunt kits again!" he snarled. The dog stood hesitantly there for a moment, then spun around and ran. Deadfrost felt his legs buckle, and the last thing he saw was the kit crawl into a crack in the rock.

Angelpaw woke from a startling dream.it showed a horrific sight with a dead deadfrost and what looked like a kit being being malled by a dog .It was so horrible and terrible that she threw up on the site , at least she was outside.She knew that starclan had given her a vision. Deadfrost must be in trouble she thought i have to find them.she ran throgh the forest and heard a cat yowling .'Deadfrost" she thought she ran in to the clearing and saw a injured deadfrost ,a kit slipping through a crack ,and big brown dog .she remembred this dog,it killed her real mother.this now went to a whole new level.she wanted to jump on the dog and kill it. But is was gone now and deadfrost was out cold on the clearing.She ran over to him and remembered what the clan cats had said will stop bleeding.She got some cobwebs and put it to his wounds."Ohh if only lightning were here",she said to herself.

"What could Lightningpaw possibly do?"
Said Sunset as she raced behind her.
"Deadfrost!"
She nundged him with her paw.
"Deadfrost, wake up!"

well he would comfort me thats what",angelpaw snapped.She sighed arguing wasn't going to help her friend."He got attached by a dog,real bad".

" Dont worry.. I'm here" Lightningpaw said jumping out of a tree

OCC: I'm not gonna die yet, and the kit isn't hurt, just cold.

Deadfrost's eyes slowly opened. "The kit....Is it safe?" he spluttered. The searing pain returned, and he winced. He gingerly turned his head to see Sunset prodding him, along with Angelpaw and Lightningpaw.

Featherfall wa dreaming again, but this time instead of her friend Sunset being attacked by dogs, Deadfrost was. She tossed and turned, and probably woke up the other Warriors. But she cold, instead of her mate sleeping beside her. She opened her eyes. Deadfrost, and Sunset were gone. But where would they both be in the middle of a Thunderstorm? Visions of her dream brought her back to the Clearing, and her paws where already running, running faster than she ever had before.
"Deadfrost!"
She screamed. She hoped the dog was gone. She hoped Deadfrost was alright. She hoped Sunset was alright.
"Deadfrost!"
She shouted, and then she saw him. He was lying in the rain, surronded by Sunset, Angelpaw and Lightningpaw. And off to the side something small and gray was crouched in the rain. She padded over to it. A kit with large green eyes looked up to her. She looked back and picked it up by the scruff and brought it to Deadfrost. Featherfall sat the kit beside his belly and began to lick it warm. She didn't say a word of alarm to anyone, just sat and licked her kit. Her kit. Because now this kit was her and Deadfrost's.
"Deadfrost look this is your kit."
She said showing him the small bundle.

" AWW, he's so cute!" Looking at the little bundle of joy

Deadfrost jolted at Featherfall's voice. He looked at the kit, then up to his mate. "Our kit?" he rasped. He nuzzled the kit. "I see. Shall we name him Rainkit? He was found out in the rain." For a moment, his pain was overlaid by joy. The kit mewled and squirmed over to Featherfall.


OCC: Who will RP this kit?

OCC: i dont want to do it, im already rping as Sapphire XD

Featherfall nodded to him.
"Our kit. Our kit. Rainkit."
She said, nuzzling it under her belly to keep it warm.

OCC: Okay, I will.

Deadfrost struggled to sit up, and failed. "We have to get him back to camp. He'll catch a cold." He tried to stand again, and fell.


Rainkit looked up at the gray she-cat. "Who are you?" he squeaked.

Featherfall looked at Deadfrost then to Lightningpaw and Angelpaw.
"Help Deadfrost back to camp please."
She said, looking back down to the small kit.
"Your mother, Featherfall, and that's your father Deadfrost."
She said curling her tail around her paws, as if she was creating a barrier so the kit wouldn't go wondering off on it's own.

Deadfrost smiled at Rainkit. "Hello, my son."


Rainkit gazed at them with wide eyes. "Really? I have parents!" He didn't remember any of his earliest memories, just the dog attack and to now. "Is the dog gone? And I'm cold."

Featherfall gave a regretful look to Deadfrost.
"Yes the dogs gone, and I will take you to Camp."
She said lick Deadfrost on the forehead.
"I have to leave you dear. But I trust these cats to bring you back safely."
She said picking up Rainkit by the scruff and running back to ThunderClan.
