Learning to heal with a heart wide [OPEN]

Copperfox wandered off of Skyclan territory and journeyed to the river. His mind buzzed with all that had occurred in such a short amount of time. Asylum was gone, Dawnhawk was gone, the gathering had been chaotic... the world seemed too broken to fix. But there was something inside the young tom that wanted to at least try. He wasn't the same scared cat that he had been. He had learned that sometimes, and as equally unfortunately, that violence was the answer. But it didn't have to be his go-to. He wasn't his brother. He would try to talk to other clan cats, now that he could. He would try to cool tempers and change hearts and minds. If it meant he'd have to raise his claws, then he felt confident that he would be able to do that. The young tom didn't know it, but Bloodstrike had done something similar in his youth. Copperfox walked the edges of the river, willing to follow it for hours while his restless feet carried him. Whatever happened this night... happened. He only hoped for the best, because that was all he could do.

Dewlight was patrolling the river's edge just after sunset, enjoying the cool breeze that rustled the surrounding reeds and made ripples in the softly flowing river. It was quiet, peaceful and serene, and Dewlight had just reached one of the farthest corners of the territory when she spotted a shape on the far side of the river. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the shape pace for a while, contemplating her options. The wind was blowing the wrong way unfortunately, so she wasn't able to tell if the cat was a clan cat or a rogue, and while it was on the wrong side of the river.... Well, who knows if that cat could swim. It could only be a matter of time before they crossed the river and entered RiverClan territory, and if something happened because she didn't follow up on suspicious behavior she would never forgive herself. Having made her decision, the she-cat revealed herself, letting the wind carry her scent across the river to the other cat before calling out. "H-Um... Hi. Who... What.... Er.... What are you doing? Who are you? Why are you here?" She stuttered, her pelt heating with embarrassment.
