Day of Fate [Birdpaw]

Dawnhawk barely had time to turn to Birdpaw before she landed a well-struck blow to his chin. He was tired and weak enough that even though it was an attack from an apprentice, he back-pedaled away from her. He'd had enough. "You're very lucky you're my daughter's friend." He hissed, though he was winded and it hardly sounded like a sound an adult tom should make. Without another word, Dawnhawk turned away from the bloodied pile of fur that was his brother and Birdpaw. He didn't have a medicine cat or twolegs to help him this time. He needed to beat a hasty retreat out of here before more of Skyclan smelled blood and showed up. He was in no condition to fight anymore.

The pale tom galloped off to find somewhere quiet to treat his own injuries. His knowledge from Asylum was certainly about to come in handy.
