"Might as well take it back, just in case." Wisteriabloom said. She didn't understand the Asylum's love for crafting things out of deceased animals, but what else were they going to do with the turtle? Leaving it here would attract foxes, and it would be bad for the river to put it in there.
"Oh, my paw's fine!" She responded, not completely meaning it. Another dip in the water should be enough to stop the pain while they got back to camp, and then she could have Thornpaw look at it. It didn't hurt that much, but an infection would make it much worse. After numbing the pain in her paw yet again, she picked up the turtle in her mouth. "Should we head back?"

"Get that looked at by your medicine cat, anyways." She'd expected the she-cat to say she was fine. It was only natural to want to hide weakness from a perceived enemy, and so Eos took no offense to it. The clan cats didn't fully trust the Asylum, and that trust could only be learned in time.
Nodding, Eos moved to keep pace with Wisteriabloom as they made their way back to camp. She figured that the warrior wouldn't be too thrilled if her escort was behind her while injured. It was only natural, after all.
