Sharp-tongued and a little bit judgmental in the way parents sometimes tend to be, Sunshade does have a softer side, and is nonetheless dedicated to and quite protective of the kits under her care. Often tries to act as a mother figure to any younger cats in her vicinity, and some of the older ones as well. She was once in training to be a warrior, but when an accident left her with a broken leg that she never fully recovered from she chose to retire to the nursery with her pride intact rather than start her training over - after all, there are always kits in need of care and there's always work to be done.
