"Maplewhisker!" Softbreeze called, walking over to where the she-cat lay. She noticed how friendly Downtuft had become with the she-cat, and was happy to see her brother was finally making friends. ""Would you like to go herb hunting?" She asked, noticeably forcing herself to be a bt cheerful. Mothglow's death had hit her hard, but she didn't want her Clanmates to worry. They had enough to worry about. With a perhaps too bright smile, she led the way out of camp.

Almost immediately, her strong nose picked up several herby scents and she headed towards them, scouting for any herb that might be important. "Tell me if you find anything that looks like an herb you recognize, if you see any red berries, don't touch them. They are either deathberries or holly berries, both are poisons." Spotting the white flowers of a yarrow plant poking out by a rock, Softbreeze walked forward, happy to find some. hopefully Maplewhisker wouldn't poison herself before the trip was over.

1: poison (deathberries, deadly nightshade, foxglove seeds, water hemlock, holly berries) or nothing

To find an herb, roll the effect dice! The number you roll will affect the herb you find. For each roll, choose one of the herbs listed above for your cat to find! If a 1 is rolled, you can choose between a poison or find nothing! Then edit your post to rflect what you found. Happy hunting~

Maplewhisker was lying in the clearing of the WindClan camp, enjoying the last little bit of warmth from the sun that leaf-fall had to offer.  The dip of the camp into the moor kept it well protected from the wind that seemed to be getting colder and colder as season bore on.  She lifted her russet-brown head as she heard Softbreeze calling for her, asking if she wanted to join an herb hunt.
"Sure," she answered, having never helped finding herbs before.  

Maplewhisker followed Softbreeze out of camp, scanning for any herbs as she went.  She stopped as she was told to do, then started wandering around, looking for any potential herbs.  Pausing at a familiar-smelling plant, she looked closer.  The plant's red berries looked delicious, so she plucked a few off with her teeth, chewed and swallowed.  She suddenly felt an invisible force choking her, sending her panting on the ground.  Darkness seeped at the edge of her vision, and she immediately knew she would not survive.

Noticing the familiar raggedy leaves of ragweed, Softbreeze quickly nipped it and gathered the strength providing herb. Alarm flared in her as she turned and saw Maplewhisker. Writhing on the ground. Beside a deathberry bush. She was about to drop the ragweed when she remembered it provided strength. Taking it, and picking up the yarrow, the molly dashed over, shoving the white flowery plant into the solid caramel molly's mouth. "Don't even think about closing your eyes on me! Eat that plant-- it'll save your life! When you're done vomiting, eat the ragweed." She hissed, eyes wide with fright. Didn't' she just tell her not to eat any red berries!? Why did no cat listen to her!

Since arriving to the forest, Eris had met a myriad of cats. She met them doing a myriad of things- hunting, battling, all of your typical Clan cat activites- but never anything like what she was seeing then. Worry should've been the first emotion the she-cat felt, but no- a strange sense of curiosity prickled within her chest, urging her paws forward and closer to the two she-cats. She soon realized that one of them had eaten the small red berries, judging from the disturbed patch of them mere pawsteps away from where they both stood. And, judging by the other she-cat's stained paws, she was a healer of some sort- what was it the Clan cats called them... Medicine Cats? That sounded about right. Before she got any closer, she called out to the two of them, "Looks like you could use some help, hmm?" Her voice carried a half-feigned tone of helpfulness, both gentle and kind. As she got closer, she mewed, "What can I do to help?" Perhaps the she-cat could learn something from the ordeal.

Maplewhisker barely had enough consciousness to do as she was told, eating the plant that Softbreeze shoved into her mouth.  It tasted disguising, and right as she swallowed she vomited.  The pain she felt eased, and she immediately lapped up the herb that was set in front of her.  She felt immediately strengthened, and she sat up, staggering.

Getting up made her immediately dizzy, and Maplewhisker fought the urge to fall onto her side.  As her vision cleared, she noticed a cat she did not recognize.  She looked at Softbreeze, then back to the intruder.
"Who's this?" she croaked, looking at the medicine cat.  She didn't have enough energy to be hostile, let alone fight if she had to.
