Beech of Skyclan

Cat Name: Beechkit, Beechpaw, Beechface

Tom or She-Cat: She-cat

Appearance:
Beechkit is a pale shaded silver tabby with white chin, throat, neck, chest and paws. The dark tabby stripes are relatively indistinct over much of Beechkit's body due to the white roots of the fur. Much like her mother, she has long, fluffy fur that, while soft to the touch, is not suited well for hot greenleaf days (and also contributes to the softer looking markings). Dark yellow-green eyes stand out against her pale face.

Beneath the fluffy fur, Beechkit is lean yet solidly built, with well-muscled haunches. She's on the taller side, taking after Bloodstrike, but not quite as tall as her father.

Personality: Beechkit is friendly enough with her family and clan, at least at the start. As an aspiring warrior, she enjoys going out hunting and is eager to train and prove herself.

She is initially dismayed at the idea of becoming a medicine cat, as she'd aspired to become a warrior. There might be some resentment at first as well, she'll take a while to warm up to the sudden change, but once she does, the bitter resentment will fade. If Starclan wants her to walk the path of a healer, she will do so. As such, Beechface has very little tolerance for nonsense or stupidity, and even less patience for foolish cats who get injured in nonsensical pursuits. As a medicine cat, she is very strict; what do feelings matter if you're dead? If you're alive, you can resent her all you want and she'll be fine with it. So long as her charges are healthy and living. Having been trained as a warrior first, she will likely use a cat's frustrations at being cooped up in the medicine cat den to her advantage. Her charges are welcome to spar with her... Once they're fully healed. She finds spite to be an excellent motivation to keep going when times are tough.

Beechface is short-tempered and rules the medicine cat den with iron claws, but it's all in the name of seeing her clanmates healthy. She is deeply hurt when she can't save someone, and would work herself to the bone if she had to just to save one cat. She can be rather harsh on herself (and certainly, with those under her care) because she doesn't want them to repeat foolish mistakes that will get them injured or delay their recovery.

Beechface will be my application for the Skyclan MCA when the position opens. If you've been following on discord, my plan is for her to complete her warrior apprenticeship first, then soon after receiving her warrior name (or possibly even earlier, after her moonstone and just before she would be named a warrior?) something happens to make the current medicine cat approach the clan leader and Beech herself. I'm still unsure as to the exact circumstances that will lead to her becoming MCA (if she's chosen for the position), I'm open to suggestions/plotting on that if she's the cat chosen for the position.

Consider this a WIP until the MCA position is officially opened?
