Carrion Date

Vinepaw stalked in, ready to meet Willowpaw. He had met her on the border while trying to hunt. She had attacked him and thats how they met. They were going to meet here and Vinepaw was excited, he liked Willowpaw. He sat down, tail lashing with excitement as he silently waited for her to come.

As Willowpaw stalked into the Carrionplace, she spotted Vinepaw and her heart soared.  She raced over to him.  She suddenly felt closer to him than ever before. (not that hard considering they haven't been together for long)  She plopped herself down next to him.  She started off with some conversation.
"Does ShadowClan hunt here much?"

"Not a ton, but we will if prey's running low." He meowed. "Want me to show you?" He asked happily.

"Sure!" Willowpaw was just glad to have his company.

Vinepaw leapt for a rat, claws out-stretched. He landed on it and swiftly bit it, killing it. "Ta-da!" He said is a playful tone.

"Personally, I prefer catching fish," Willowpaw told him, "We could meet over by the river sometime and I could show you?  Or I could even teach you how.  It's not that hard." she remembered that she had been able to catch a fish on her first day of training.  
"Could you show me how to catch rats?  We don't have any in RiverClan territory."

"well, first you crouch down, make sure the wind isn't blowing on your back, then the prey will smell you. With rodents like rats, you have to be light on your paws, they'll feel the vibrations in the earth. Then you pounce!" He pounced on the already dead rat, just to show her. "Also, It does sound fun to learn to fish." He brought the rat over to her.

(OOC: btw, might be a bit slower today, I have some work i'm doing, too.)

"Ok, I'm gonna try!"  Doing her best to follow Vinepaw's instructions, Willowpaw snuck up on a rat.  When she was close enough, she pounced.  She caught the rat, but instead of killing it, she set it back down and let it run away.
"We don't need it," she told him, not wanting to be taking prey from another Clan's territory.

Willowpaw walked back over to Vinepaw.  They sat there for a little while, in comfortable silence.  She enjoyed just being there next to him.  She wondered how they would continue with this...    meeting up.
