We Flow Along [closed]

Applefang smiled. His stomach let out a low rumble. ”Yeah!” he said enthusiastically. The warrior’s eyes were happy, and his smile showed that. He was having a good time.

Streampaw padded over to the fresh-kill pile. “What would you like? We have vole, fish, mouse...” She turned towards the handsome ginger warrior, feeling her pelt grow hot for a second. “Um...yeah...” Streampaw turned away again, What is wrong with you today? She scolded herself.

Applefang laughed, plucking out a vole. ”In the mood for this guy today!” he said, sitting down with it, biting off a piece of it. He looked at Streampaw, and suddenly he felt weird. He didn’t know what it was...but soon his own cheeks grew red.

“Ohh...vole, nice choice.” Streampaw plucked one from the pile too. She saw Applefang looking at her, and ducked her head quickly, hiding her shyness. She decided to eat the vole quickly, covering up her embarrassment. “Hey...uh...thanks for being my friend.” Streampaw told him, pelt growing hot once more. “I...dont have a lot. The kits used to think I was weird, with my weirdly long tail.”

Applefang shrugged. ”I’ve got long legs, you’ve got a long tail...who cares?” he said, taking another bite.

“Yeah...true. I like my long tail. You’re long legs make you seem more like a RiverClan cat, though. Fast and strong.” Streampaw flicked her tail again. The sun was setting, painting beautiful colors of reds, oranges and pinks. “Hey look at that color. It looks like your pelt.” Streampaw mumbled through a mouthful of vole, pointing with her tail.

Applefang looked up. It was like his pelt. ”Yeah! It is!” accidentally, his tail started to rest on Willowpaw. He didn’t notice it, and he just watched the beautiful sky.

OOC: Streampaw lol. It’s easy to get them confused.

The shade was a lovely, warm color of brownish orange. As Streampaw admired the color, she felt something rest on her shoulders. She glanced back, surprised to see that it was Applefang’s tail. She didn’t really mind it, and strangely, felt more safe. Streampaw didn’t know why she didn’t bother to point it out, but she decided to go along with it.

Applefang let out a content purr, and glanced at Streampaw. ”This is nice..” he mewed, watching the sky turn a brilliant pink.

“It is—“ Streampaw broke off in a yawn. “Woah, does time really past that fast? I’m tired already...” She broke off in another yawn. Some part of her was slightly disappointed that she didn’t get to spend more time with Applefang. “Well...I should maybe get some sleep...see you tomorrow?” Streampaw commented, She padded over to her den, made sure the moss was neat, then fell into a deep sleep.

Applefang nodded, and lifted up himself, joining his family and the others in the warrior’s den. He soon feel asleep, and dreamed of playing with Streampaw in the river.
