We Flow Along [closed]

Applefang had woken up early, he wanted to hang out with his new friend Streampaw. They had been growing very closed lately, and he loved being around her. He trotted into the apprentice den and nudged his friend before striding back outside. He waited for the she-cat to wake.

“Hey...” Streampaw grumbled, as someone nudged her awake. She opened her eyes to see that it was Applefang and she grinned. “Long legs, hi!” She purred. Her tail flicked happily as she joined him outside of the apprentice’s den. Some scraps of green moss were stuck in her fur and Streampaw struggled to get them off. She couldn’t reach her tail or her back, which was very annoying. She shrugged and turned back to Applefang. “What should we do today?”

Applefang smiled. [color:b8b5=33ff33]”Wanna go hunt? Or spar? Or hang out? I dunno, I just wanna do something!” mewed the fluffy ginger tom. It was true!

“Let’s just hang out! Ugh stupid moss scraps.” Streampaw scratched at her itchy muzzle, gouging out more moss trapped inside her fur. “Hmm...should we...I dont know...play in the river again? Water tag seems fun.” She commented. Thats it, I’m never going to sleep on messed up moss again. She thought, slightly annoyed at the moss. It was so embarrassing yet frustrating at the same time.

Applefang nodded. ”Fun!” Nrixing her frustration, her plucked a hit of moss off of her back. ”Race you there!” he yelled, before dashing off. Soon after starting, he tripped over himself something, he wasn’t sure what. He stood back up. Now Streampaw was ahead! He ran faster trying to beat her.

Streampaw laughed as Applefang tripped over himself. “Hey, clumsy legs! I’m catching up!” She yowled, dashing ahead. They were neck to neck, but then, Applefang leaped into the water, splashing Streampaw with droplets. “Oh, not again!” Streampaw dove into the water. As she surfaced, she flicked her tail towards Applefang. “Tag! You’re it!” She dove underwater fast, swimming away.

Applefang laughed, and dove underwater after her. He placed a large paw on her back, popping up. ”You’re it!” he said before swimming back away, avoiding her. He glanced back and saw Streampaw was closing in on him.

Oh no, you dont... Streampaw smirked, catching up fast. She pretended to slow down a bit, diving deeper to ensure that Applefang wouldn’t be able to see her. Her emerald green eyes shone and she was under Applefang in no time. The, with one, great kick of her hind legs, she popped up from under him, tapping him with her paw. “Now, you’re it.” Streampaw dove underwater again, swimming as fast as her paws would take her.

Applefang let out a mrrrow of laughter as he was tagged again. His green eyes twinkled mischievously was he grabbed her tail. Soon, however, something that was not fitting in the situation happened. A goose was in the water, and after getting annoyed by the two cats decided to attack the larger one. He flew at Applefang and struck him. Applefang turned, and pushed out of the water, striking the goose.

A wild goose attacked! It used Wing Bluff, dealing 10 damage and costing 20 stamina! The Goose was hit by Applefang’s attack! Applefang used Under Water Push-Off, dealing 10 damage and costing 15 stamina!

Streampaw turned around, noticing something was wrong. She stared in absolute shock as a goose appeared out of nowhere. Old memories came rushing back as Streampaw stared at then predator. A flash of fangs. A sudden, spearing pain. Blood. Then, nothing. As the goose charged at Applefang, Streampaw shook her head. “You will NOT hurt my friend!” She yowled. The goose turned it’s attention towards her and Streampaw took her chance, She leaped onto the bank, running father away from the goose. “Come on, you feather brain!”

Applefang growled at the goose, and watched as Streampaw confronted the predator. He took the chance as well, and started to run from the goose. The goose honked angrily, but decided it wasn’t worth it to fight them. When they ad reached a good distance, the warrior stopped. ”WOW! Nice job!” painted the ginger tom.

Applefang and Streampaw fled!

Streampaw managed to smile. She purred slightly. “I couldn’t let that goose get you, otherwise, I would miss teasing you.” Streampaw washed her face. “Anyways...are you okay? Do you need a check-up?” Streampaw asked, slightly concerned and worried about her friend. That goose had seemed pretty fierce.

Applefang shrugged. ”Nah, I’m ok.” mewed the warrior. ”That goose was pretty scared of us though!” he laughed playfully.

Streampaw shoved him playfully. Then, she shifted her face to the sun, bathing it in golden sunlight. Her slight silver tint was highlighted once again, and she shifted her head to look at the tall ginger tom. She nudged him again, harder this time. Then, her stomach grumbled, and she turned away slightly embarrassed. “Um...you hungry?”
