Nightwolf skipped over to the apprentices den. Today he was going to be training. Not him of course but his apprentice. "Streampaw! C'mon!" He said loudly, unaware of the other apprentices sleeping in there. He padded over to right outside camp, looking back to see if Streampaw was following him.

When Streampaw heard her name, she immediately scurried out of where she was siting. “Here, Nightwolf! I’m here!” Streampaw called out. Her long, slender tail wanted to quiver with excitement, but she kept it under control and composed herself.

Nightwolf started walking. "Ok! Let start with hunting! Crouch down really low and the leap. Try it out on that mouse!" He said, sitting down.

OOC: So do you know how to use the hunting system?

OOC: Not very much but isn’t there supposed to be a dice roll of some sort? I did read the rules but hadn’t had experience myself.

Streampaw crouched low, liked her mentor asked her to. She focused all her attention on the mouse, being careful not to make any sound and keeping her tail still. Then, she leaped high into the air, and attempted to trap the mouse underneath her paws. She bit it on the neck, and killed it with a quick bite.

Nightwolf ran up to Streampaw. "That was so great!" He said in awe. "Now lets go and look at all the borders." They walked over to Fourtrees. "Here is fourtrees. Every full moon everyone goes there to talk!"

Streampaw sniffed curiously. Different scents of different cats mingle around her nose. The scent smelled fresh. “Was there a Gathering recently?” Streampaw asked, as she struggled to remember what moon was it last night.

Nightwolf nodded. "Yup! Now lets go to the other borders!" After traveling to the other borders Nightwolf caught a scent. "Squrriel!" He bolted after the grey furry creature. He wasn't watching where he was going because, he bumped into a fox.

OOC; While we're at it lets get the battle requierment out of the way ^^

OOC: Sure! Do you mind going first?

Streampaw was chasing after the squirrel too, when suddenly her mentor bumped into a snarling, very angry fox. Streampaw shuddered at the predator’s wicked smile, fangs flashing. She tried to hiss menacingly, but it must have sounded weak, because the fox snarled angrily. Then, it launched towards Nightwolf.

Nightwolf batted his paw at the fox. He knew foxes were dangerous so maybe a little push could scare it away.

Streampaw dove underneath the fox, and scratched at the soft underbelly.

The fox growled and bit down on Nightwolf's leg, not noticing the apprentice scratching at its belly.

Nightwolf let out a whimper as the fox bit down on his leg, possibly breaking a bone. "Owie!" He whimpered. Blood trickled down. More weakly, he got onto his hindpaws and landed a blow before coming down onto all four paws.

The fox backed away from the warrior, his fangs dripping with blood. Nightwolf was limping slightly, and Streampaw rolled out of the way. Too late. The fox turned his attention on her, and Streampaw attacked, using an unsheathed claw to claw at its muzzle.

The fox hissed, saliva dripping from its jaws, towards the small cat. It then bit down on her back firmly, biting down harder and harder, trying to keep the cat from getting away.

Nightwolf watched as the fox grabbed his apprentice in its jaws. Nightwolf ran up to the fox and batted at it his unsheathed claws. The fox was so mean!

The fox growled as another cat, the one it was orignally focused on, batted it. The fox then bit down the older cat's leg, the same one it bitten down on before, holding tightly.
