Due to his abusive and lonely childhood, Shag was a hard cat to get close to. He longed to see those who had wronged him suffer, and would do almost anything to have it happen.

When he was a kit, his kitypet mother cast him out because she thought he was ugly. He roamed around for afew weeks, and then was captured and taken to an animal shelter. When no one wanted to adopt him, they took him to be euthanized. Before they could, he escaped and ran into Clan territory. He was met by an apprentice on a hunting patrol, and gets into a skirmish with them.  The apprentice, who has had battle training, come out on top. Shag was able to escape with minor injuries, as in a torn ear and scratches across his muzzle. After escaping the territories, he ran into the Xuexi, at the barn. He talked with her, and they took a liking to each other. She introduced him to the Regime, and they plotted with each other on how to take down the clans. Afew months later, Xuexi gave birth his kits, who were named Mao, Lengxue, Rift, and Wuqi, named after the style her mother had named her. Wuqi died not long after he was born. Xuexi trained the kits hard. They learned a lot, and Shag was proud. But then, Lengxue left. She ran to RiverClan, and was then taken to ShadowClan, since Scorchstar was her great-grandfather. She became Lauralpaw, and then Laurlalsong. When Shag found out what she had done, he was furious. She was no longer his kit. Not long after she left, Mao and Shag talked. He explained how the Clans were terrible hypocrites, and didn’t deserve what they had. Mao, thankfully, listened to him. A few moons later, Xuexi went missing. They looked for her everywhere, but couldn't find her. Shag refused to think that she was dead, or even worse, joined the clans. A week later, they found her. Or rather, what was left of her. She was dead, her body already decomposing. Shag was torn apart with grief. The cats who did this would have to pay. He began to form a plot. But the very night before his plan would take place… the flood hit. Shag struggled, finally making it to the roof. Standing on top, he could see WindClan cats being swept away. For once, it was nice to see the Clan cats suffering the same as them. But as he called out to his children, the roof collapsed. Shag plunged into the water, but all the debris from the barn prevented him from getting to the surface. Water filled his lungs, and he sunk to the floor. He was alone as he died.

Meadowpaw was always shy. She had her siblings to play with, and all was well. But then, everything went downhill. Shade maimed Spotfur, and attacked the deputy, resulting in his exile. Meadowpaw was terrified! It was days before she left camp again. On that hunting patrol, she was attacked by a fox. With the help of warriors on that patrol, they chased it off. But not before it scared Medowpaw. When the great battle ensued, she was chosen to fight for the clans. Feeling she had no choice, she obliged. The result were scars across her muzzle, and a severely torn ear. She was scarred, in more ways than one. She already disliked fighting, but now she hated it. She believed it only brought pain and suffering. A week or so after, Meadowpaw was gazing into the river, thinking to herself. While she was distracted, Hailpaw crossed the river, looking for trouble. She attacked Meadowpaw, insisting that she fight back, despite her pleas. She couldn't understand… What had she done to deserve this? She stumbled back to camp, covered in scars, both physical and mental. Then, her mother died. Wracked with grief, she became more of a recluse then she was already. The flood came, and she was separated from Coldgaze, but at least she still had Flurryshine. However, that may have not been a good thing. Flurryshine had sacrificed her own kit to save her mentor, Dewshine, who died giving birth to her last litter of kits. Meadowpaw had to watch her sister, who had always been so strong, slowly fall into insanity. Flurryshine insisted on carrying Dewshine’s corpse around, saying it need to be buried on “RiverClan Territory”. She wouldn't take care of Dewshines kits, thinking that since she sacrificed her own she couldn't take good care of them. It hurt Meadowpaw to see her sister that way. And then, Fluryshine died. When Meadowpaw saw Coldgaze again, she told her the bad news. They were both heartbroken. On top of everything, shortly after they returned to their own territory, Coldgaze had to leave. Since she had attacked a ShadowClan warrior, someone from their ally Clan, she had to go to ShadowClan for a few moons. Meadowpaw hated to see her last living relative go, but she knew it was for the best. Hoping to clear her mind, she went down for a walk by the river. She had not been there long before she heard a cry of pain and smelled the scent of a fox. Looking across the river, she saw Hailpaw, injured, being attacked by the fox. Meadowpaw knew that the ThunderClanner had no way to defend herself. Putting everything that Hailpaw had done to her aside, she leaped into the river and attacked the fox. Meaowpaw managed to chase it away, but not before it delt her a fatal blow. She died on ThunderClan soil, defending someone who never showed her mercy.
